Jasper was relieved to sit back down at the prosecution table. He looked over at Finn then at Kane and Murphy. He watched as Kane questioned Murphy. He thought as he muttered quietly " what does these questions have to do with the case at hand?" Jasper cocked his head slightly as he figured that the questions that Kane was asking must be of some sort of relevance to the case. John Murphy |

As Marty began cross-examination he wanted to know who ordered the code red. " Lieutenant Murphy, Did you order the code red?" Marty asked. Murphy was already pissed off as he yelled, " You're god damn right I did!" Marty smiled as he said, " No further questions your honor." Jaha said, " We don't need closing arguments." As the jurors looked at each other Jaha said, " Has the jury reached a verdict?" Markson stood up and replied, " We have your honor." Jaha said, " Will the defendant please stand. Lieutenant Murphy you stay there. Will the jury please read your verdicts." Markson replied, " In the case of threatening an Ark Chancellor we find Markington guilty. In the case of killing an Ark Chancellor we find Markington guilty. In the case of killing an Ark Chancellor we find Lt. Murphy guilty." Jaha said, " I am placing both Lt. Markington and Lt. Murphy into lockup for six months. No visitors allowed." As Jaha banged the gavel and the courtroom was dismissed a few delinquents stood up and walked over to Clarke and Nikolai as Susan and Murphy were escorted to their cells by Gavin and Bellamy. " Don't worry Susan! We'll get you out!" Nikolai yelled over the commotion. As Murphy was taken away he looked at Jaha and said, " You're next! You hear me! I'll get you for this you jackass! Jasper perked up as he raised his eyebrows with a stern expression on his face. He glanced over at Marty and Murphy. He leaned in towards Finn as he whispered to Finn " who the hell ordered the code red?" He wondered what happened when the code red was ordered. After hearing Susan say what had happened after the code red was ordered Jasper was in shock and awe. When the verdicts were read he looked over at Clarke and Nikolai to see them both in shock and sadness. Jasper felt bad for Clarke since she had just gotten married and they were supposed to be going on their honeymoon after the trial. John Murphy Clarke Griffin |

When the verdict was read Clarke stood up as she looked over at Murphy and Jasper. She muttered softly " what the fuck... Susan was the one who killed Chancellor Pike not Murphy. Why the hell would John be locked up as well as Susan?" She hid her face as she hid her tears. She had gotten married to John and was going to go on her honeymoon with him but now she'll have to wait until Murphy gets out of prison. She turned to Nikolai and nodded her head. As she was lifted into his arms she felt him jump before they left the courtroom. They landed outside the courtroom and she saw her mother and Chancellor Kane waiting for them. " What the fuck mom! We're supposed to be going on our honeymoon, but now that's on hold for six months!" Clarke yelled as she couldn't hold back her tears. She cried into Nikolai's shoulder as Bellamy returned and escorted them over to the back door for the cells. " Princess...here's the plan. I'm going to have Nikolai and Gavin bust them out. We need you, Abby and Kane to take Finn, Octavia and Jasper to the West. Get what you guys need for supplies like food, water and clothes. We'll meet you guys in the forest at the Trikru Grounder Base. Indra and Lincoln will be joining us with Nyko, Lexa and Anya. Good Luck." Bellamy said as he took Nikolai with him inside. |
