After the trial and being put into the same cell as Susan, Murphy quietly said to her, " Hey, don't worry. We're going to bust out of here. Then we can head West to Vegas. We'll be free from the rule of Jaha and we can do what we want." Susan smiled as she liked what she heard. " One question...Who's coming with us? Won't they get suspicious if a bunch of us leave at one time?" Murphy chuckled as he gave Susan a hug. He was then pushed away as Susan shoved him backwards into the wall. " Get off me! It's your fault we're in here." Susan snarled as she shoved him. " My fault? You're the one who cut my throat!" Murphy replied angrily as he hit the wall. Gavin slammed on the cell bars to quiet them down with his baton. " Knock it off you two. If you want the plan to work...we need to wait for the signal." Gavin said as he winked at them. Susan nodded her head as she was released from her shackles and leg weight. Marty appeared next to Gavin and he said, " Everything's ready to go. We have Bellamy and Nikolai in position and the others are getting the supplies ready. You sure you want to do this Gavin? There's no turning back after this." Gavin nodded his head as he replied, " Definitely. Let's do this. Give Indra and Bellamy the signal." Marty pressed a button and as a flash bomb went off in the courtroom, Bellamy entered with Nikolai as Indra and her warriors attacked the others. Indra was waiting with a group of warriors in the trees near the courtroom and as they got the signal they attacked the delinquents and resistance with non-lethal force. Their spears and arrows were coated with amnesia to make them forget what was happening. Jasper, Finn, Octavia and Kane gathered as much ammunition, weapons, arrows and bows for their journey. Meanwhile, Abby was packing up as much medical supplies as she could. Lexa, Anya, Nyko, Lincoln and Indra were waiting for all of them to the West of the courthouse near the Grounder territory. As Octavia saw Lincoln her heart skipped a beat. She ran to him and gave him a hug. As Nikolai and Bellamy entered through the backdoor of the cells, they saw Gavin and Marty talking to other Ark guards. Nikolai gave the secret whistle and two hunters knocked out the other guards as Marty and Gavin unlocked the cell doors. " Let's go! Quickly now...Don't worry Susan, we got your hunting attire and other clothes all packed up in your backpack. Go with them now...We'll be right behind you." Gavin said as Marty grabbed three bags and handed Susan her backpack. He then gave Gavin his back before slinging the third over his left shoulder. As Susan took her backpack she smiled before following Nikolai and Bellamy to the others waiting for them. Marty tossed Murphy his pack and said, " Let's go! Clarke is waiting for you, sir." Jasper was preparing to head to Vegas grabbing any weapons and ammunition that he could get his hands on as he went to join the others so that they could begin their journey. All they were waiting for was Bellamy,Nikolai,Susan and Murphy. Clarke was already with them as she was waiting for Murphy. He rolled his eyes as he saw Lincoln and Octavia hugging. He just wanted to start leaving so that he could be by Finn and away from all of the lovers. As he felt Finn behind him he chuckled. Jasper turned around and gave him a hug. Clarke had no idea that Susan and Murphy was going to escape their cells. She figured that they were all heading out for Vegas since John had said something to her about going to Vegas. She helped her mother gather all the medical supplies that they could. She waited for Bellamy, Nikolai,Gavin,Marty,Susan and Murphy by her mother. She couldn't wait to leave on their journey so that she could be alone with John and they could do whatever they wanted. Susan wrapped her arms around Nikolai as she gave him a kiss on the lips. They then followed Bellamy and Murphy outside. As Bellamy checked to make sure the coast was clear he saw grounders blocking the view from the secret exit to the woods. Susan jumped as she felt something touch her arm. She almost screamed, but her mouth was covered by a hand. " Quiet remember....Go quickly....now is your only chance." Nikolai said into her ear as he appeared in the tree where they were headed. He had his bow and arrow pointed towards the courtroom. As he saw Finn and Jasper leave he also saw Indra and Lincoln following them with Octavia. Nikolai gave the secret whistle for Murphy and the others telling them the coast was clear. As Susan followed Nikolai she took out her hunting attire and put it on over her jail outfit. She then grabbed her bow and arrow holster before putting her backpack back on and her arrow holster over it. As she spotted Chancellor Kane and Abby she motioned for the others to follow her. Nikolai followed from the trees above as Susan led the group on the ground. Finn followed Jasper closely as he joined the group with bags of water. The grounders that were blocking them followed the final person out. The final person ended up being Gavin who was following Marty and Susan. As they all joined up with Lexa and the others they pulled out a map and looked at where their next location was. " The amnesia will wear off in a few minutes. We need to get away from here as far as we can and as fast as we can." Indra said as she followed Octavia and Lincoln to the group. " Right. We have enough supplies for everyone. Susan...Good to see you safe. Let's go. We'll follow Murphy, Nikolai and Susan. Stick together in groups. If we get separated just keep going West." Kane said as he checked Susan's jail collar. He removed a small button off of the collar and did the same to Murphy's outfit. After removing the tracking devices he placed them on the ground and crushed them. " Tracking devices...I thought I heard a beeping sound earlier but I didn't know where it was coming from." Susan said as she followed Nikolai with the rest of the group behind them. Indra watched Susan and Nikolai from the back of the group as she walked with Lexa, Nyko and Anya. " I still do not feel right leaving the rest of the Trikru without a proper leader Heda." Indra said as she followed Kane and Abby. As they continued on their journey a few delinquents ran after them. " Hey! Wait for us!" Gretchen yelled as she brought Markson and William along with her. Susan looked back at them before appearing in front of their path. " Do you have enough to survive until we get to Vegas?" she asked them. " Of course Huntress, or should I say Lieutenant Markington." Markson said as he saw Murphy with Clarke. " If you fall behind don't blame me if you get killed. Move out!" Susan yelled as she back flipped into a tree and watched the three new recruits follow the others. She followed from the trees above quietly as she spotted a wolf ahead about to attack Clarke. She quickly pulled out an arrow and fired it at the tree beside Clarke. The wolf's head was now sticking in the tree dead with an arrow in its skull. Murphy chuckled as he picked up his wife. " It's okay princess. Susan just saved you. Nice shot Markington! Get back down here!" Murphy said to Clarke before yelling at Susan. As she landed next to them she smiled and said, " Sorry about that Mrs. Murphy. I can't let you die now can I?" She then rolled up the wolf in a burlap bag before tossing it to Nikolai. Jasper walked with Finn as he kept up with the others. He whispered to Finn " if this plan ends up going south I got your back and I won't let you die." He smiled as he turned his head slightly as saw Finn walking closely by him. He looked at the tracking device that was on both Murphy and Susan and rolled his eyes as he muttered " great... with those on them this plan will surely go south" until he saw Kane destroy the tracking device. As Jasper was busy walking close to Finn and protecting him Clarke felt that she was in someone's arms. She looked up and saw that it was Murphy. She smiled as she looked at him. She was greatful that Susan saved her life. She was set down on the ground as she held John's hand. She continued on with Murphy as she smiled at Susan. John chuckled as he put Clarke back on the ground. " You think I would let anyone else touch you like that?" Murphy said as he walked with Clarke and followed Nikolai. As they continued to walk Susan gave the secret whistle and everyone stopped walking. Nikolai looked around and he saw a deformed human coming towards them. " What the hell?" Nikolai said as he watched the zombie fall over dead. Susan had appeared behind the zombie with her pocket knife in her hand. She had stabbed the zombie in its head and smiled as she said, " Don't worry love, I got your back. Bloody zombies..." Murphy looked at the deformed body of the zombie and he asked, " Could this be from the nuclear radiation?" Susan put her pocketknife away before replying, " I think it is...which means we will be seeing a lot more of these buggers on our voyage." Jasper Jordan Clarke Griffin |

Clarke smirked as she said to Murphy "no my love you wouldn't of let anyone else touch me like that." She knew how angry John would get if he found out that anyone else touch like how he did. She stopped walking when she heard the whistle from Susan. She muttered softly " zombies...where the hell did they come from?" Susan nodded her head as she watched them continue on towards their first destination. The Alamo in Texas was a historical place that she had heard stories about. She wondered if the Alamo was still there. As she watched Gavin give Marty a piggy back ride she snickered. " Remember everyone! If you see a zombie aim for the head!" she said as she saw Finn with Jasper. She watched as they walked by her holding hands. I wonder if Nikolai wants me to lead the others...that way he can go hunt? she thought as she followed Indra and the Trikru crew after Abby and Kane. " Mountain up ahead! Climb or go around?" Nikolai asked as Susan looked up to see the hill of dirt. " What are you talking about? It's just a hill of dirt!" Susan replied as she looked at Bellamy and nodded her head. Bellamy smiled as he took off his pack and took out dynamite. " Now comes the fun part! We get to make stuff go BOOM!" Bellamy said as he laughed. Kane looked at the dynamite and then at the mountain. " Oh no you don't....That mountain is unstable...If we set off dynamite the whole thing will collapse." Kane replied as he stopped Bellamy and pointed at the cliff above them. " Let's go around then!" Markson cried as he pointed at the zombies on the cliff. Susan quickly took out three arrows and fired one at each of the three zombies. A swarm of bats left the cave in front of them as Susan fired a final arrow to the rocky ledge above them. She then pulled on the string to make sure the line was tight. After doing this she tied her end to the tree next to her. Susan then jumped onto the rope and climbed to the cliff. After reaching the edge of the cliff she shoved the zombies off and began to examine where they should go. As she looked to her left she saw more zombies coming towards her. " Shit...it's a hoarde..." she muttered as she knew she didn't have enough arrows to take them all out. " Susan! Catch! Blow it up! We'll meet you on the other side!" Kane said as Bellamy handed him the dynamite. As Susan caught it she quickly lit the fuse and tossed it into the crack near the hoarde of zombies. As everyone ran to the right of the mountain Susan jumped off the cliff as she was blown backwards from the explosion. " Damn it!" she cried as she took the brunt of the impact from a rock that had blown into her stomach. As she began to fall to the ground she heard Murphy say, " RUN!" Susan opened her eyes to see Bellamy. " Thanks Bellybutton. I owe you..." Susan said as she heard Nikolai yell, " Susan! You okay?" As she gave the birdcall to inform him she was safe. He smiled before leading them to the end of the mountain range. As they crossed a small dirt hill they saw their destination. Susan smiled as she said, " Niko-kun! Over here!" She saw a river and a few dead trees. " Think we can make a raft?" she asked as Murphy slid down the hill with Clarke on his shoulders. " Yeah...Let's camp here for the night. I'll take first watch. Get some rest my Huntress." Nikolai replied as he kissed her forehead as he gave her a hug. Susan smiled as she watched the others climb down the dirt hill. " We're camping here for the night. We'll continue our journey in the morning. For now...let's eat and rest up." Kane heard Susan say as he was the last one down the hill. Nikolai and Susan stayed on the hill for a few minutes before something reached out and grabbed her ankle. Susan shrieked as she saw that it was a zombie. " I'm not your meal tonight! Get away from me you undead bastard!" she screamed as she jumped into Nikolai's arms and they landed next to the fire that Bellamy, Finn and Jasper had started. As more zombies began to surround them, Susan said, " We need to conserve our ammo...use knives, machetes, axes, spears only...No bullets! Murphy! Gavin! Marty! You three with me! Nikolai! Help Kane and Bellamy take out the left flank. We've got the right covered. Octavia! Lincoln! Indra! Lexa! If you see any of us go down you need to jump in and get us to safety!" They began to hack and slash at the zombies Susan gave an Indian cry. She then took out her pocketknife and began to stab zombies in the head. As they took out the zombies, Susan was bitten in the process of killing another zombie. As she watched Gavin and Marty take out zombies near her, she screamed out in pain, " Aaaaagh!" A shot was heard as Kane killed the zombie attacking Susan. As Susan fell with the zombie she ripped its head off before tossing it into the fire. Blood gushed from her neck as her previous wound was ripped open and the infection began to spread through her body. The last thing she saw before passing out was Nikolai running to help her. Jasper gave a sly smile as they came to a halt by the sound of Susan's whistle. He muttered softly " nicely done Susan" as he looked over at Finn. As he saw the zombies coming from every direction he said " there is no way in hell are you having Finn and I to eat time to die fucking zombies" as he took a knife and stabbed the zombies that were coming towards him and Finn. Jasper glanced over at Finn before saying " I promised to protect you and I plan on keeping the promise even if it means that I die in the process." Clarke Griffin Susan Markington |

Clarke went down the hill on top of Murphy's shoulders. She managed to get off Murphy's shoulders and looked all around her and she saw zombies coming from every direction possible. She muttered " really?...fucking hell why don't you just die already fucking zombies." She had to defend herself against the zombies as she said " there is no way in hell are you having my mother,husband and my friends to eat." She grabbed a knife and stabbed the zombies that were coming towards them. She couldn't let the zombies kill her mother,husband or her friends. She just had to protect them from the zombies. As Susan stabbed a zombie in the head she was bitten by another one from behind. The next thing she knew she was crying out in pain as she heard a gunshot. " Aaaaaagh!" she screamed before falling forward from the impact of the bullet. She ripped off the zombies head and tossed it into the fire before collapsing into the sand. The last thing she saw was Nikolai running to assist her. " Nikolai...." she said as she was caught by him. He had Gretchen and Markson help him take her over near the fire. As they laid her down she began to convulse. The zombies were all slain and they finally had time to relax. " Nyko! Abby! Clarke! It's bad...she's been infected!" Nikolai yelled as he backed away to let them work. Susan stopped convulsing as her heart stopped. The next thing anyone knew Nikolai hit her with her own baton and she woke up. " I won't let you die on me..." Nikolai said as Susan glared at him. " Grrrrrrrr....." Susan said as the transformation was complete. Nikolai looked into her eyes and he saw that they had changed color. " No!" Nikolai yelled as he pulled out his pistol. " Nikolai...relax...I'm fine!" Susan cried as she saw the gun. Nikolai looked at Susan once more and watched as she removed contacts from her eyes. " Don't fucking joke like that babe...I thought you really had turned! Holy shit...are you trying to give me a heart attack?" Nikolai said as he helped Susan up and saw that the bite was only makeup. |

Clarke rushed towards Susan with her mother as she dropped the knife that was in her hand when she heard Nikolai call for her and her mother. When she and her mother got there and she saw that it was just a false alarm and Susan had contacts and makeup on she frowned as she said to Nikolai and Susan "don't ever pull that shit ever again." She got up and picked up the knife that she had dropped and walked back with her mother.
