Escaping This Hell Hole

Susan looked into the fire as she growled once again. Marty hit her with the baton and she tried to bite it. As Murphy saw this he slapped her across the face with his right hand. This caused her to lean towards the flames. As she leaned Murphy grabbed her.

Susan growled and hissed before she felt the flames lick her face. "Fuck off! Up please! Aaaaaagh!" she screamed before she was pulled back. "Are you done with your charade? If not you're going back." Murphy said as he looked at her in the eyes. Susan blinked before snapping back to her senses. "Welcome back Lieutenant." Kane said.

Clarke walked over towards the fire but she stayed at good distance away from the fire. She watched what was going on in front of her. She muttered "why the hell was Susan growling for? was it because I snapped at her for pulling the false alarm before?" She had her arms crossed out in front of her. She chuckled softly as she smirked before saying "wtf John! Knock it off."  It seemed that Kane was glad to have Susan back. She rolled her eyes as she glanced over at Murphy before heading back towards her mother.

Jasper walked towards the fire with Finn when he heard screaming. He muttered "what the hell is going on?" He took Finn by the arm as they ran towards the fire. When they got there he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms when it was just Murphy and Susan. He asked softly "what is the meaning of all this damn screaming?" He looked over at Finn and smiled slightly before frowning.

Susan scratched at the makeup and revealed a real zombie bite. "Shit! Code red! Get away from her Murphy! NOW!" Nikolai yelled as he looked at his future wife. "Nikolai....Help me...please " Susan pleaded as she fell to her knees. She hung her head as the transformation continued to take effect. As her skin began to change color. What the fuck is happening to me? she thought as she hung her head. "My life is in your hands...my hunter..." Susan said.

Jasper took a step back from the fire as he yelled to Finn "that isn't makeup... Susan was bitten by a zombie and is turning into a zombie get in back of me I'll protect you." He glanced over at Murphy as he said "Murphy get off of Susan unless you want to get bitten by her and turn into a zombie." He took a gun and held it in his left hand by his side while he held the knife in his right hand. He whispered softly to Nikolai "be careful Nikolai so that you don't get bitten by Susan and turn into a zombie."

As Nikolai aimed the pistol at Susan's head he said, "Forgive me my lovely Huntress." As he fired the blank at her head, she moved her head and the bullet hit her where the zombie bite was at. As Susan screamed in pain Nikolai watched Murphy gag her with a cloth. He then handed the gun back to Murphy as he tied Susan up to the tree nearby. Susan struggled as she tried to speak through the gag. Her eyes were bloodshot as she looked at Nikolai for the final time before falling asleep. Nikolai sat next to Susan and he examined the bite. He then walked over to Abby and Nyko before returning to Susan with a sedative. He hoped it would calm her down and make her normal again. Susan woke up as the gag was removed from her mouth. She heard Murphy singing with Bellamy before she let out a few moans.

Nikolai gave Susan some food as the sedative began to wear off. After she swallowed the food and opened her mouth again Nikolai gave her some water before placing the gag back into her mouth. "Forgive me my love. This is for your own protection as well as ours." Nikolai said as he kissed her forehead. Susan looked up at Nikolai as she spit the gag out and said, "Please...just end me now my love...Before I lose control again...I don't want to hurt you or anyone else...I'm begging you Nikolai..." Nikolai looked at Susan sadly as he said, "No...Without you we will never get to Vegas. Please Susan just let Nyko, Abby and Clarke tend to you. Maybe they can find a solution to the infection...I don't want to lose you...I love you."

As Susan watched Murphy and Bellamy stand up and walk towards her with Kane, Jasper and Finn. As they stood behind Nikolai they all began to sing. Susan woke up to see Nikolai singing with the others. As she spit out her gag she looked at the water glass. Nikolai gave her some more water before she pulled him close and gave him a kiss on the lips. "I love you my hunter...I will always love you. No matter what happens....no more sedative...Just keep the gag and untie me..." Susan said as she placed her hands back into the cuffs attached to her jail uniform. As Nikolai untied Susan and placed the gag back into her mouth he watched her go into the forest behind a few bushes. "Alright guys go back to the camp fire. It's time for scary stories and s'mores. Don't worry...Susan will be fine now." Nikolai said as the others began the next song while they turned around so Susan could take care of business.

As Susan finished bonding with nature she pulled the pants of her jail uniform up before returning to Nikolai. She pointed at the water and as he uncuffed her she washed her hands with the cool water. Susan then splashed a little onto her wound and her face. "mmmnhing...nnngh mmmmmnghs..." Susan said with the gag in her mouth. Nikolai chuckled as he said, "Yeah, I hate them too. Hopefully we can find a cure soon...Until then, I'll be keeping a close eye on you. Come on Susan, let's get you warmed up." As he went to take her hand she turned away and walked back over to the tree. Nikolai watched as Susan returned to the tree and he started up the next song that everyone joined in on.

Susan even removed her gag before she joined in singing. She then changed the song and sang solo before Nikolai joined in with her. As he approached her she smiled before she took another sip of water. "I think the tainted water is counteracting the bite...I'm breaking free from these memories, gotta let it go, just let it go...." Susan said before she sang with Nikolai. As they sang the others watched as he picked her up and danced with her. Susan giggled as she twirled around Nikolai before spinning into his arms and back out. As he dipped her he gave her a passionate kiss. "If you're going to be a zombie...make me one too...I want to be with you forever. Will you marry me, my Huntress?" Nikolai said quietly to her. As Susan took him in her arms she smiled before giving him another kiss. "Yes...I do...Water..." Susan replied as she took another sip of water and kept her bite under control. She hoped Nyko, Clarke and Abby could find a cure soon.

Jasper took a step forward as he took Finn by the hand and said looking at the task at hand "well this is rather unfortunate." He gave Finn a kiss on the lips as he held his hand. He wasn't even sure if there was a cure for Susan's zombie bite. He walked over to Abby and asked her "is there a cure for Susan's zombie bite?" He saw Susan appear to be what he thought was normal before she was bitten. There wasn't anything he could do about it since he wasn't a medic but he hoped that Abby,Clarke and Nyko could find a cure.

Clarke walked over to her mother as she asked her mother "is there a cure for Susan's zombie bite?" She knew that Jasper had already asked her mother that but it was good to know to take a step forward into possibly curing Susan. She had noticed that Nikolai had used a sedative on Susan. She looked at her mother before she walked with her mother over to where Nikolai and Susan were. Clarke and her mother bent down besides Susan. She said to Nikolai "I'm going to need you to restrain Susan while my mother and I work on possibly finding a cure for Susan's bite."

As Nikolai watched Susan laugh before she placed the gag back into her mouth he knew it was to protect the others. Indra stood nearby Nikolai with her bowie knife drawn in case things went south. Susan watched as Abby and Nikolai mixed up some vinegar, salt and water before handing the bowl to Clarke. She quickly removed her gag before saying to Nikolai, "No matter what happens, I will always love you. Clarke...do it!" As she put the gag back into her mouth when Clarke applied the mixture to her wound Susan moaned as she tried to escape Nikolai's grasp. Nikolai forced her to her knees as the rest of the medication was applied. Susan's skin color began to return to normal as she felt her heart stop once more. Nikolai checked her pulse with his left hand on the right side of her neck. He felt no heart beat as he closed her eyes and laid her on her back.

As Nikolai removed the gag her gave her a final kiss and he felt someone grab him. As he realized Susan was alive he chuckled and kissed her again. Kane relaxed as he saw Clarke return to Murphy. He looked at Indra and as she nodded her head he approached Abby and she began to sing a song with Clarke's help for Susan and Nikolai. Susan opened her eyes to see Nikolai laying next to her. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him a few times before saying, "I do...Thank you my hunter...I owe you my life now and forever. I will do my best to protect our group." Nikolai smiled as he sat up and helped her up. "We leave at first light. Get some rest everyone. Susan and I will take first watch we'll wake up Abby and Kane for second shift then Clarke and Murphy for final shift." Nikolai said as they stood up. Susan felt like she had been hit by a truck as she stood up and lost balance. She felt Nikolai catch her as she tried to regain her balance. "The only thing I remember was you proposing to me...was that a joke or for real? The rest is a blur....Niko-kun...I'm scared. I just want to be held." Susan said as she held onto him.

They all sat around the campfire and told each other stories from their past on the Ark and what happened when the 100 delinquents landed. Susan sat near Nikolai on the ground as she felt the fire warm her up. "Okay all...I feel like I got hit by a truck. Jasper, stop kissing Finn you jackwagon!" Susan said as she winked at Jasper before standing up and grabbing her guard uniform from her backpack. Nikolai stood with her and he helped her over to a bush so she could change clothes. As she changed she handed the prison uniform back to him. Once she had on her guard jacket she smiled before giving Nikolai a hug.

As they returned to the others Susan looked at Gavin and said, "I guess I just lost my husband I don't know where he went. So I'm gunna drink my money, I'm not gunna pay his rent. I'm gunna start a fight!" Clarke sang along with Susan as they continued the funny song while Susan sparred Clarke and Bellamy sparred Lincoln. The others laughed and sang along as well. Finn sang, "The waiter just took my table and gave it to Jessica Simps. I guess I'll go sit with drum boy at least he knows how to hit. What if this song's on the radio then somebodies going to die. I'm gunna get into trouble. My ex'll start a fight!" Bellamy hit Lincoln across the face before looking at Octavia and chuckling.

Jasper smirked as he winked at Susan as he said to her "I'll kiss Finn all I want and if I don't what are you going do miss Markington." He pulled Finn close to him as he kissed his lover on the lips. He chuckled as he walked away with Finn. He was glad that Susan was getting back to normal, well at least for Nikolai's sake. He was only interested in protecting and loving Finn. He was going to get some rest when he heard everyone start singing and he figured he might as well join in with everyone else and rest afterwards.

Clarke smiled as she chuckled at the smart comment Jasper made to Susan. She was glad that the cure worked and that Susan was getting back to normal. She started singing along with Susan as she started to spar with her. She chuckled softly as she looked back at Murphy. Clarke pulled John close to her as she smiled and passionately kissed him. Everyone was just having fun singing along to the funny song.

As they finished singing Murphy kissed Clarke passionately before he pulled a blanket out of his bag. As he laid his head on the log and stretched out he fell asleep with Clarke next to him. Susan and Nikolai took the first watch as the others made themselves comfortable on the ground around the fire. As Susan looked at everyone and made sure they were all comfortable she took Nikolai out of ear shot before saying, "I seriously want to know what happened after I got bit...all I remember is Murphy holding me over the fire...the next thing I know my heart stopped until you shocked me. Everything after is still a blur...I'm sorry if I worried you my love." She then gave him a kiss before taking out an arrow and firing it at a wolf.

Murphy woke up as he heard the wolf cry and he relieved Nikolai for the time being. As Clarke stirred Nikolai jumped into a tree and fell asleep. Susan walked over to the wolf and dragged it back over to Murphy. She then began to skin it and put the intestines in a bowl. Susan finally put all of the meat into a separate bowl before snapping off the bottom jaw of the head. After doing this she began to make another hat. Murphy quietly watched her work as Clarke came up behind him and gave him a hug. "Hey princess..." Susan said as she smiled while separating the skin from the bones before cleaning it. Murphy spotted another wolf on the opposite side of the campfire near Jasper and Finn. He took out his tomahawk and threw it at the wolf that was about to eat Finn. The wolf fell over dead as Susan saw the tomahawk hit the wolf in between its eyes. "Nice shot Commander. Now go get it before they wake up from the smell." Susan said quietly as she continued to make her wolf hat. Indra was watching everything from the shadows of the trees as Lexa, Anya and Nyko slept nearby.

Jasper smiled at his lover Finn as he gave Finn a passionate kiss before going to sleep. He didn't see the wolf that was going to eat his lover as he woke up and whispered to Finn "hey are you alright?" He decided that he was going to stay awake while Finn slept so that he could protect his lover from anything that would come and attack while his lover was asleep. He glanced over at the wolf and smirked as he muttered "nice shot..." as he noticed the tomahawk in between the wolf's eyes. He looked over at Murphy and Susan before looking back over at Finn.

Clarke smiled as she went to sleep on the ground next to Murphy. She started to wake up and went behind John and gave him a hug. She looked over at Susan as she said "hey Susan..." She looked over at the wolf that had dropped dead and smiled as she said "nice shot my love." She watched as Susan was making her wolf hat and chuckled. She glanced over at Jasper and Finn and slightly smiled as she turned her attention back to Murphy.

As John went to retrieve his tomahawk, he saw that Jasper was awake. "Would you like to skin this with Susan's help?" he asked Jasper as he returned to Susan with the wolf. Indra watched as another wolf approached Murphy from the West. Before she could throw her spear an arrow was already in its skull. Nikolai had killed the wolf as Indra heard the arrow hit. She watched as another arrow flew towards Lexa, Anya and Nyko. As the next wolf died Indra knew they had to keep moving or douse the fire. "Heda! We must move..." Indra said as she killed the next wolf approaching.

"Code grey!" Nikolai yelled as he continued to fire arrows at the wolves approaching those around the fire. Susan joined in as she fired arrows as well. "We can always make more arrows! Keep firing Nikolai!" Susan yelled as she stabbed a wolf in the head near Clarke. "See Mrs. Murphy...I won't let anyone get hurt...neither will Nikolai." she said as she fired more arrows.
