Clarke watched as Murphy sparred with Roan. She walked over to Dodger so that she could stand by him and cheer on John with him. She saw Murphy out of the corner of her eye and thought you can do it I believe in you... kill the fucking prick for me. She stood silent as she wondered what Nikolai and Susan were doing on the posts but shrugged as she turned her attention back to Murphy and Roan. She thought that John was doing great so far and she figured that he could take Roan. She thought maybe she was overstating things perhaps. She put her hand on Dodger's shoulder as she smiled at Dodger. She tried to not have John lose focus during the spar. She thought what were the hunters doing on the posts alongside Nikolai and Susan. As she saw John land on top of Roan she figured that it could either be John possibly putting an end to Roan or Roan possibly putting an end to John. John Murphy |

As John landed on Roan he watched as Roan spat in his face. " I'm not going to kill you...this is only a spar, but if you ever lay a finger on my wife or child...I will kill you on the spot...Do you understand?" John said angrily as he held his knife at Roan's throat. " Yeah...I understand...if you get off me I will kill you...Just look up...Your son is hanging from the roof of the stables..." Roan said as he spat at John. As John looked up he saw Dodger dangling from the stable roof. He quickly ran under him while shouting, " Let go Dodger! I've got you." Susan and Nikolai drew their bows and watched as the rest of the hunters did the same. Dodger let go of the roof and dropped into John's arms before being placed on the ground. Dodger watched his father get grabbed and thrown back into the ring by Roan. " DAD!" Dodger cried as he looked at his mother who had tears in her eyes. Roan jumped onto the stable roof after grabbing John and continuing the fight on the stable roof. " Not until I give the signal Susan..." Murphy said into his radio. She nodded her head and kept a steady aim on Roan. King Roan then kicked John off the roof and grabbed his hand as John said, " Roan, Please help me..." Roan darkly said, " Long live the king...." He then let John fall to the ground as he was screaming, the children watched on in horror. Dodger yelled, " Nooooooooooo!" As John hit the ground hard he heard Roan drop down next to him. As the hunters all placed arrows on their bows and pointed them at Roan, Murphy turned to him and said, " You don't deserve to live..." John slashed at Roan's throat with his knife as he turned around to face him. As Roan grabbed his neck with his right hand before taking a knife out of his pocket with his left he said, " It's the Hunters who are the real enemy..." Murphy glared at him as he said, " No Roan, Why should I believe you? Everything you ever told us was a lie. Our alliance is hereby null and void! You are hereby exiled..." Roan dropped to his knees as he said, " How can I prove myself to you?" Murphy replied, " Run, Run away Roan and never return..." Roan nodded his head as he tripped John and kicked dirt into his eyes. He said, " Yes, as you wish your majesty!" John cried in pain as he attempted to get the dirt out of his eyes. Roan took the opportunity with an attempt to stab John in his stomach as Susan said, " Don't even think about it. We have orders to kill you if anything happens to Mister Murphy." John kicked Roan away before crawling a foot and being dragged backwards. He saw Clarke and Dodger still cheering for him. He knew they were counting on him to win. He kicked Roan before standing up once more and continued the fight by punching him a few times. Roan took his own knife and stabbed John in his stomach before throwing him to the ground. As John fell to the ground once more he clutched his stomach in an attempt to stop the bleeding. He watched as Roan lunged for him and using his feet John kicked him back into the middle of the sparring pit. " KIDS LOOK AWAY! SUSAN! NOW!" John yelled. Susan smirked as she heard Roan say, " My friends..." Nikolai looked at Susan as they heard Bellamy say, " Friends? I thought he said we were the enemy?" Nikolai added on, " Yeah, that's what I heard...Susan?" Susan cackled before saying, " FIRE!" All the hunters fired their arrows at Roan as they attempted to kill him from every angle. Clarke gasped as she saw what was happening right before her eyes. She wondered what was going to happen to her husband and if Dodger was going to be alright. She muttered " what the hell is Dodger doing on the roof?" She was relieved when Dodger land into Murphy's arms. She rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms as she thought what the hell Roan... I thought we were allies. She was pretty angry with Roan. She quickly went over towards the children and told the children to cover their eyes. She didn't want them to see what was going to happen. As she saw Murphy fall to the ground hard she wanted to scream but she didn't want Dodger and the other children to think that there was anything wrong and that there was anything to worry about. She covered her eyes as she felt tears coming from her eyes. She quickly wiped away her tears with the sleeve of her jacket. She yelled for Dodger to come over by her. As Dodger ran over to Clarke she wrapped her arms around Dodger and held him close as she whispered into Dodger's ear and said " don't worry there dear son your father will be alright." Jasper ran over towards Clarke as he gently wrapped his arms around her. He whispered to her " I knew that it didn't look good so I came over to see if you and Dodger were alright before I went and checked on the other children." Clarke nodded and hugged Jasper as she said to him " Thank you for coming to check on me and Dodger." Jasper nodded as he went and checked on the other children. Once he was done checking on all of the other children he went back over to Clarke so that he could protect her and Dodger. Jasper thought that there was something wrong with trusting Roan and being allies with azgeda. He didn't question the decision to trust Roan and becoming allies with azgeda. Jasper just focused on protecting not only Finn but also everyone else. He went to search for Finn and see if he was alright. Finn hugged Jasper as he whispered into Jasper's ear " I know you had your doubts about Roan but watch what's going to happen to him." Jasper smirked as he watched the hunters fire at Roan. As a smoke bomb was dropped and Roan screamed in pain, Murphy laid on the ground still as he heard Roan take his last breath. As he looked at Roan's body he felt the knife in his stomach go even deeper. Gavin quickly picked up Roan's body and tossed it onto the fire pit before running back to help Abby with Murphy. Murphy looked at Clarke and Dodger for a final time before Bellamy blocked his view and took his hand. " Remember what I said...take care of Dodger, Clarke and any siblings Dodger may have...Thanks for everything Bells...If I don't make it...tell Clarke I love her...teach Dodger everything you taught me when we first got here...Friends forever and brothers for life...May we meet again..." Murphy whispered as Bellamy felt his grip loosen as he began to fade. " I promise...Friends forever and brothers for life...May we meet again..." Bellamy replied as he watched Murphy fade away. Abby ran over to John and began to operate on him right then and there in the dirt. He had lost a lot of blood and was still hanging on as Bellamy began CPR. After Abby fixed the injury from the stabbing with Roan's knife, she cleaned the wound, stitched him back up and gave Bellamy the go ahead for CPR. " He's patched up. Go ahead and try..." Abby said as Kane appeared and walked with her over to the fire pit to comfort her. " Come on fucker! Breathe damn you!" Bellamy cried as he continued CPR until John's pulse came back. As Murphy coughed up blood he gasped for air. Bellamy held Murphy's head as he kept him still on his side. " Friends forever and brothers for life...Welcome back Murphy..." Bellamy said as he chuckled. Murphy rolled back onto his back as he gave Susan the thumbs up. Susan then gave the secret whistle for Clarke and Dodger to let them know that Murphy was alive. Dodger looked at Susan and saw her wipe a tear away before turning and looking at Bellamy who was laughing with his dad. Murphy chuckled as he said, " If Lexa finds out we kissed, I'll be dead again...Clarke can handle it, but I'm more worried about Lexa. Jasper! Finn! Come here a minute." As Finn and Jasper walked over to Murphy and Bellamy they helped Murphy stand up before giving him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Murphy balanced on Bellamy as Finn ran to get him a cup of water. Jasper yelled for Jackson and Abby as he pointed at Murphy. " Abby! Jackson! Murphy's okay!" Jasper yelled as he smiled. Clarke Griffin |

Clarke heard smoke bombs go off and muttered " oh shit that doesn't seem good." She quickly ran towards Dodger and the other children. She saw Murphy and gasped but she managed to smile and whisper softly so that only John could hear her " don't worry babe everything will be alright." She made the realization that if anything were to happen to Murphy she would have to take care of Dodger by herself. She didn't know if John had said anything to anyone else until she found out that Murphy had said to Bellamy for him to take care of Dodger and her. Clarke didn't even know if Bellamy taking care of Dodger as well as her was a good idea. She wondered if Murphy had ever thought about Lexa. She thought that Lexa deserved to have Bellamy to take care of her. She thought it would have been better if she would have took care of Dodger by herself if anything happened to Murphy. She had heard a secret whistle from Susan and she took Dodger by the hand and walked with Dodger over towards John. She was glad that Murphy was alive and whispered softly to him " hi there babe Dodger and I are glad that you're alive." She stepped away from Dodger to ask her mother if she needed any help. As Finn returned with the water for John he smiled as he handed him the cup. " You had us worried there for a minute brother." Finn said as he kneeled next to John and helped him sit up. Dodger walked behind his dad and stood there as he wrapped his arms around his neck lovingly. " I'm okay son...I love you too...please let go..." John said as he pulled Dodger's arms away from his neck with one hand while drinking the water with the other. " I love you papa...Don't ever leave...." Dodger said as he began to cry. Bellamy picked Dodger up and let him cry on his shoulder as Murphy sipped on the water before handing the cup back to Finn. He then flipped himself to his feet as Jasper stood in front of him. " Boo!" Jasper yelled as he startled John. As Murphy stumbled backwards while saying, " What the fuck Jasper? Are you trying to kill me again? Giving me a fucking heart attack...shit..." He clenched his right hand over his chest as he regained his balance before turning to Clarke and taking her hand. As he pulled her close and kissed her on the lips. Clarke Griffin |

As Clarke was watching what was going on between Murphy and Jasper she saw Dodger crying. She gave Dodger a soft smile as she went over towards Dodger and Bellamy and gave Dodger a hug. She leaned in close to Dodger's ear and whispered softly " don't worry about your father he's alright and I don't think he's going anywhere." She stepped away from Bellamy and Dodger and went to watch Murphy and Jasper. She laughed softly as she shook her head and smiled slightly at Jasper. She gasped as she wasn't sure what was going to happen as she felt John grab her by the hand and she kissed him. John Murphy |

Dodger stopped crying as he saw his dad stand up and give his mom a kiss. He hugged Bellamy after drying his tears on his own guard jacket sleeve. " Thanks Uncle Bellybutton. Can you please put me down now?" Dodger said as he hugged Bellamy. After being put back on the ground he walked over to his parents and said, " Papa...don't ever do that again." Dodger then punched John in his leg before walking over to Lexa and talking to her. Bellamy walked after Dodger and grabbed him by his collar. " You know better than to hit your father. Go back and apologize to him or I'll put you in lock-up for striking a superior officer of the guard." Bellamy said as he let Dodger go. Lexa nodded her head at Dodger before saying, " Do as your uncle says or I will make sure you are locked up for longer than a few days." Dodger grumbled as he walked back over to his parents. " You're lucky grandpa didn't see you hit me or you would be shocked with the baton." John said as Clarke changed the bandages on his lower legs. Dodger looked horrified as he heard the word " baton". He then said, " I'm sorry, sir. I was just upset. Please forgive me for hitting you." John looked at Clarke before letting her reply. Clarke smiled as she saw Bellamy interact with Dodger. She looked over at Dodger as he hugged Bellamy. She held onto Murphy as she gave John a hug and a loving kiss. She was angry as Dodger hit his father in the leg. She hissed " Dodger you know better than to hit your father in the leg like that now go and apologize to your father." She rolled her eyes as she looked over at Murphy. She carefully and slowly changed the bandages that were on John's leg. She was pleased when Dodger walked to Murphy and apologized. She walked over to Dodger and gave him a hug. She whispered into Dodger's ear " thank you for apologizing to your father next time if you do something like that again it might not be like this and you'll end up getting locked up or even possibly end up getting hit with your uncle's baton." " That or your grandfather will smack your bottom so hard you won't be able to sit for a week." John said as he laughed. He looked at Marcus and nodded his head. Marcus tossed John his baton and smiled as Abby joined him. " What's going on? John! You can't use that on Dodger! Stop it now!" Abby yelled as she watched Murphy lower the voltage on the baton before starting it up. He then touched his own injury and embraced the pain. " Who said anything about using it on my son?" Murphy said as he gasped as he pulled the baton away. As he turned it off he looked at Dodger and said, " Would you like to see how it feels?" Dodger shook his head no as he backed up into Bellamy. Clarke rolled her eyes as she thought that there were other ways to deal with the kid misbehaving than shocking the kid with the baton. She covered her eyes as she shook her head. She didn't even know why on earth would Murphy use the baton on his own injury. She looked over at her mother as she whispered into her mother's ear " don't worry I'll make sure that he doesn't use that damn baton on Dodger." She glared at John as if she was saying babe I swear if you use that damn fucking baton on Dodger I will pry the damn baton from your hands and put it on the highest voltage and use it on you. She didn't care that she might get locked up for thinking that as she thought that it was okay as long as she didn't say it. John Murphy |

John watched as Dodger went over to Lexa. He smiled as he turned the baton off and tossed it back to Marcus. " Thanks. The pain meds were wearing off so I had to numb my leg." John said as he glanced at Clarke and smiled. " Princess is upset...I wasn't really going to use that on him. I'm not like the other jackasses who tortured us back on the Ark. Chancellors are the exception since they give us orders." he said as he pointed at the guards who were shocking a few misbehaving delinquents with their batons. " Enough Rodriguez!" Clarke rolled her eyes as she watched Dodger walk over towards Lexa. She figured that he would be safer by Lexa. She had thought about smacking some sense into Murphy. She decided against it but walked over towards John and wrapped her arm around his shoulders. She gave him a reassuring smile when he noticed that she was upset. She said in a calm tone, " I know that you aren't going to use the baton on Dodger and I'm grateful for that. I still remember how they tortured us back on the Ark." As Rodriguez stopped fighting with a new recruit he glared at Murphy before scowling and walking over towards Dodger. " Gavin! Code yellow! Dodger! Code red!" John yelled as he watched Rodriguez approach his son. He wanted to defend his kin, but with his leg numb he was unable to walk very far until the numbness began to fade. " What's going on Aunt Lexa?" Dodger asked as he looked behind him to see Gavin step in front of him before throwing Rodriguez back towards Murphy. Dodger heard what his father said and he returned to the stables and took care of Snowflake with Jasper and Finn's help. " I won't let you hurt my best student. If you want to get to him you'll have to go through me." Gavin said angrily. As Rodriguez hit the ground near John's feet he looked up to see John Murphy furious. As Murphy gave Clarke a kiss in return he chuckled before glaring down at Rodriguez. John then picked up his injured and numb leg before bringing it down near Rodriguez's face. As Rodriguez saw John's foot come near his face he rolled out of the way and got back onto his feet. " Next time you go near my son, wife or family...I'll slit your throat." John said angrily as he turned to face Rodriguez who was backing up into Bellamy. Rodriguez lunged at Murphy and as he touched his right arm with his left he felt Bellamy put him into a headlock. Bellamy smiled at John who said, " Touch me again and I'll end you." As John returned to Clark he gave Bellamy the signal to release Rodriguez and letting Gavin have him back. " You mess with the bull and you get the horns." Bellamy said as he laughed. They watched as Gavin punched Rodriguez in the gut. " What would you like to do Princess?" John asked as he gave Clarke a gentle hug and felt the baby kick. " Guess I need to start calling you my queen, in case the baby is a girl." John said quietly as he chuckled. Clarke Griffin |

Clarke was wondering what was going on. She knew that it had to be urgent and important since there were codes red and yellow involved. She leaned in and asked Murphy as she pulled him aside "babe what's going on?" After she asked John she realized that it probably wasn't a good time to ask him. She wanted to know what was going on just in case she needed to step in and help. She would do whatever it took to protect her husband,family and friends. She got off her horse and took her back to the stable.
When Clarke got back she knew that it probably wasn't a good idea for her to intervene and stood far back. As soon as she saw and felt that it was okay and safe to approach the situation she walked over to where Murphy and Bellamy were. She sighed as she smiled and gave her husband a hug as she said "how about we go for a walk with just the two of us." She chuckled as she thought it was cute and she didn't mind if he called her princess or queen as long as they were together.
