First Day of Guard Duty {Possible M}

As he filled out paperwork for Susan's case, Marty looked up to see Abby holding a cup of coffee. She smiled as she handed the cup to him and said, "I thought you might be thirsty. If anyone can defend Lieutenant Markington it's you Marty. You're the best lawyer we have. If you need any help just ask me."

As Abby walked away Marty saw Gavin walking towards him. "Where's Susan?" Gavin asked as he sat next to Marty. "In lockup...We've been assigned to represent her in court." Marty replied quietly as he saw Kane return.

Marcus was furious at the moment and Gavin knew it wasn't going to end well for Susan. "Boss, What's going to happen to Markington?" Gavin asked as Marty flipped to a blank page of paper and began to draw a rabbit he saw earlier that day. Murphy returned with Clarke and he ignored that Kane was there. He inspected the damage to the bedroom door before taking out a piece of chewing gum, some duct tape and a paparclip. He then whistled and watched as Bellamy brought over Franklin Montague. "Hey boss, leave it to me. I'll get this door fixed in no time." Montague said as he took the supplies and got to work.

Clarke walked into the room with Murphy and looked at Marty and her mother. She saw that Kane was there and sighed. She looked over at Gavin as he asked what was going to happen to Susan as she was wondering the same thing. She knew that with Kane as furious as he was things for Susan wasn't going to end well for her. She figured that her mother had trusted Marty to defend Susan and she thought that since her mother trusted Marty maybe she should trust Marty to defend Susan.
