Weddings and War

Marty glanced over his shoulder as he saw how much pain Susan was going through. "She's tougher than the rookies that are attempting to become guards." he said as he looked at Murphy with a small smile.

Murphy nodded his head in agreement as he continued to look at the hunters in front of them. He then smiled and said, "Raggs! Front and center! Susan might not make it...I said might...there's a chance she may pull through, but with the arrow as close as it is to her heart..." As Nikolai stood in front of Murphy his expression was blank. When he heard of how severe the injuries were he fell to his knees and began to pray.

Murphy then had Bellamy hand him his guitar and he began to play it. "All right everyone this song goes out to Clarke, Abby and Susan. From your better halves." Marty said as Murphy began to sing.

Clarke walked over and stood next to Nikolai and prayed for Susan with him. She was uncertain whether or not Susan was going to make it. She whispered into Nikolai's ear "it'll be alright I can't make any promises but Susan is a fighter so I believe she'll fight through this." She looked over at Nikolai before she looked at Murphy and smiled as Bellamy played the song and sang.

Susan heard the song as she opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling of the medical tent. She looked to her right and saw Nikolai by her side. As she smiled faintly she closed her eyes and felt him take her hand in his. As Abby sewed up the last stitch and the song ended, Susan sat up with Nikolai's help. "You're all set Mrs. Raggs." Abby said as she tied off the stitch and helped her with her top. "Thanks Dr. Griffin, er...Mrs. Kane. Am I allowed to dance and return to hunting duty?" Susan asked as she gave Abby a wink before standing up and joining Clarke and Octavia in front of the band.

Mrs.Griffin smiled as she looked at Susan and said "you should be able to dance and as for hunting you should be able to go back to hunting but take it easy." Clarke smiled as she saw Susan return and join them. She went over next to Susan and whispered into her ear "glad to have you back Susan." She went back over towards Octavia. She wondered if the band was going to play another song since they were having fun dancing to the music and relaxing with everyone. She gave Murphy a smile and a wink of her eye.
