As the grounds are turned into a ceremony for Clarke's marriage to Murphy, everyone is anxious to see how the ceremony will turn out. As Chancellor Kane stands at the altar with Murphy he hears a delinquent shout, " GROUNDERS INCOMING! TAKE COVER!" An explosion is heard as Murphy is flipped forward into the medical tent by Kane. " Why did this have to happen today?" Abby asked as she ran to see if anyone was injured. Murphy was wearing his normal attire of dark jeans, black boots and his guard jacket. Clarke was busy getting a pretty blouse put on before throwing on a brown jacket and a pair of dark jeans. She also had on combat boots and her hair was in a ponytail. Murphy looked at Bellamy and he saw a Grounder running towards him. " Bellamy! Duck!" John yelled as he slashed at the rogue grounder and killed them with his sword. As Clarke appeared in the distance Murphy ran to her and said, " Clarke! Will you marry me?" As Finn backed up into them he said, " I don't think now is the best time John." Murphy shoved Finn away as he took Clarke by the hand and stabbed at the grounder behind her. As she shouted to Kane, " Kane! Marry us!" Murphy chuckled as he ducked under an arrow attack from a tree. He slashed at more grounders as he heard Kane say, " I'm a little busy at the moment!" Murphy yelled back, " KANE! NOW!" [/align] |

Clarke looked around the ground looked so great. She heard the one delinquent and ran over to John. She held onto Murphy's jacket and said "now it's not a good time there are grounders coming at us from the left and the right. Now we have to focus on keeping each other alive. I'm not losing you again my love." She definitely wanted to marry Murphy but not when grounders were attacking. Clarke gave John a quick kiss as she went to go help her mother with the injured delinquents. She closed her eyes before she turned back around and ran towards Murphy and whispered into his ear "let's do this before we end up dead."

" I love you princess. " John said as he kissed Clarke. His attention was back on the fight as Bellamy appeared behind him. " Let's take them out. Nobody ruins a skaikru wedding! Octavia! Get ready to assist! Protect Clarke and Chancellor Griffin!" Bellamy said as he killed a few more rogues. Kane said the ceremony stuff before firing a shot at point blank range into a rogue grounders skull. Murphy took Clarke by her hand and he said, " Clarke, do you take me to be your husband?" Murphy quickly killed a few grounders around them. Murphy looked at Bellamy and smiled as he said, " Thanks Bells. You have the rings?" Bellamy nodded as he smiled and took the rings out to show them to Murphy. |

"I love you too my prince" Clarke said as she smiled and kissed Murphy. She ran towards her mother and stood by her. She held both of John's hands in her hands as she smiled at him and said "yes Murphy I do take you to be my husband." She looked at him and asked "John,do you take me to be your wife?" She looked over at Bellamy then back at Murphy.

"I do." Murphy said as he watched Susan fire an arrow at a grounder behind him. "By the power vested in me. I now pronounce you...die you yellow belly grounder! Husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Kane yelled. Murphy went to kiss Clarke, but he slashed at another grounder behind her. As they continued to fight, they attempted to kiss again. "Just kiss already!" Kane yelled.
They dodged yet another grounder attack and Murphy pulled Clarke close to him. He then gave her a loving kiss before returning to Bellamy's side. "Susan! Protect the Chancellors and Clarke at all costs!" Murphy yelled as he saw her fire a few arrows around the camp. Murphy grabbed his gun and reloaded it with real bullets.

Clarke smiled as she saw Susan attack a grounder with an arrow. She didn't know who Susan was but she was pretty impressive. She went and passionately kissed John. She gave Murphy another kiss before running towards her mother and Susan. Clarke was terrified although she was happy that she married the love of her life,she was terrified that John would get killed again.

As Susan still had on her hunting outfit she climbed the lookout tower and took aim at the incoming rogue grounders that were already in the camp. " Well, shit! Guess it's time to pick a few off. Hey Nikolai! Can you keep them from coming into the camp? I've got the inside covered!" Susan said as she fired volley shots around Clarke, Abby and John. She watched as she almost hit Murphy with an arrow. " Shoot the Grounders not me!" Murphy yelled at her. " Sorry Boss!" Susan said as she jumped down from the tower onto the roof of the medical tent. She then slid down to the ground and landed on the grounder she had just killed. " Please Chancellor Kane! Get to cover! Take the docs with you! We'll tend to the injured after we have won the battle!" Susan yelled as she continued to fire arrows. Susan then covered the three of them as she escorted them into the Ark. As a rogue grounder tried to tackle Clarke, Susan kicked them away with her left foot before taking them to an empty room. " Get inside and keep quiet! I know you guys want to help, but I have orders. I will not disobey my Commander. Forgive me Chancellor Kane, but I need you to stay here in case anything happens to us. You are their last line of defense." Susan said as she opened a door to a meeting room for the Chancellors. She then pressed the button and said, " Keep calm and may the odds be ever in your favor. Listen for the secret whistle for the coast to be clear." As she smiled at the three of them, she did a backflip onto a rogue grounder that had followed them. Susan then snapped their neck before tossing the body outside. Susan looked outside and she saw Murphy firing at the last of the rogue Grounders. She quickly took an arrow and shot at the final grounder that was behind John. " Commander! DUCK! NOW!" she cried as she watched the arrow strike the invader inbetween their eyes. She then looked around at Arkadia and saw all the dead rogues that had inflitrated the camp. Well, so much for having a secure base... she thought as John approached her. " Nicely done Susan. I'm promoting you to Militia Leader for the Rookie sector. Nikolai also gets a rank up for assisting during the battle. Make sure the other delinquents and guards get rid of the dead bodies. I'm going to check on Clarke and the Chancellors." Murphy said as he entered the Ark. Susan quickly gave the whistle to notify Clarke that the battle was over. As she turned around she saw the final grounder above the door. They were holding a knife and John was about to be hit with it. Susan quickly reached for an arrow and realized that she had used her last one. " Nooooooo!" Susan screamed as she attempted to shove Murphy out of the way so she could take the hit. As Murphy was pushed forward into the Ark he turned around to see Susan take the hit that was meant for him. " Nikolai! Take out the grounder above the door! NOW! Susan's been hit!" Murphy yelled to the hunter.

After watching the grounder that was above the door get killed, he grabbed Susan and pulled her to safety inside the Ark. Murphy then gave the secret whistle as he opened the meeting room door. He saw Chancellor Kane pacing back and forth and Abby comforting Clarke. As the door opened Kane looked up and he smiled. "Good to see you're still with us Bellamy." Kane said as John looked to his right and saw Bellamy helping Susan. "Abby...One of our hunters got attacked..." Bellamy replied as he helped Susan into the room with John's assistance. They laid her on a medical table before giving the battle report to Kane. "Lieutenants Murphy and Blake reporting for duty, sir!" Murphy said as he stood at attention with Bellamy. "At ease! How many did we lose?" Kane replied as he looked to see who the huntress was. "Just a few Ark guards, a couple of delinquents and our huntress is being tended to now sir. Has anyone seen Markington?" Bellamy said before asking the question. Murphy jabbed his thumb at the huntress on the medical table. As Bellamy looked at the huntress being revealed he slammed his fist on the table next to him. The huntress was Susan and the knife she took for Murphy was lodged in the left side of her neck. "You two are dismissed. Murphy, take your wife with you. Abby, Will you be able to save her? She's one of the two best hunters we have." Kane said as he glanced at Bellamy before dismissing him and John.

A wedding like that was something Niko wanted to pay attention too. The idea made his stomach churn for the moment. The grounders had gotten bold lately and well in one case they were still trying to pick them off. That was fine by him it meant he could hunt them with out a care in the world. Careful not to hurt ones that actually were nice to them and didn't want to hurt them right off the bat. Granted at the moment he was attacking a few that had come after them. He was locked in battle before some flipped past them and he cursed. He was one of a team and they were getting ambushed here. He let out a growl.
"You all get one order. That is to protect the goddamn camp and don't let too many through. Hunters on the left you know what to do. My forward hunters come with me. Right flank you know what to do and I swear to God if I hear the bride and groom got hurt I will personally be your executioner. Now go!" The groups split taking the ranks of grounders that they could before he gave a whistle and the standard sound for retreat when it came to the hunter clan.
They emerged from the trees and took put grounder. He didn't hear his name he saw it before it happened and as Susan took a hit for Murphy he was already on the grounder and he was falling dead to the ground. He would check on her later this was not over yet. He gave a holler nothing more and the hunters took put some more of the grounders some had decided to retreat and he followed while the others were dealing with injured and bodies.
He came back moments later carrying weapons and he really wanted to put grounder heads on a pikes right now. But that wouldn't be a sign of good faith for those that were actually willing to help. He had a healer a grounder healer with him too. Where he had gotten him was besides the point. "You get to help them. After all you will know the poisons we don't."
Nyko nodded his head and he moved into the tent checking each and coming to Susan. He took out something handing it to Abby. "That will take care of the poison and she should be okay the idiot wasn't exactly a good shot." He said and then went off to help someone else as they tended the wounded.
Niko looked at Murphy and Clarke. "You are husband and wife now. Please tell me that happened." He didn't care for the ceremony thing and the lovey dovey stuff but they deserved the confirmation that they were.
"Susan hang in there" he said before directing the hunter clan to their duties. After all most hunters fell under him and Susan. And he had taught a lot of them how.

Murphy smiled at Nikolai and said, " Yeah. It's official." He then escorted Clarke out of the room. As the Trikru Grounder walked past them into the room, Murphy grabbed Clarke and he pulled her away to a corner. " That's Nyko...the Trikru healer right? He should be able to help your mother tend to Officer Markington." Murphy whispered to his wife as he turned her to face him before giving her a kiss on the cheek. " I know you want to help Susan, but you are needed outside." Murphy said to Clarke. The countless rogues that were killed were being moved by the various Ark guards and delinquents. They were then taken to the cliff where Charlotte was killed. As they left the rogues in a pile at the edge of the cliff Murphy watched as a delinquent kicked the bodies over the cliff. " You idiot! Are you trying to start a war? I should throw you over myself!" Murphy yelled at the delinquent who was laughing. Kane appeared behind John and he said, " Calm down Lieutenant! Escort your wife back to your barracks and get some rest. You are relieved of duty for the rest of the night." The delinquent continued to laugh as he pointed at Murphy and Chancellor Kane. An Ark guard zapped the delinquent with a baton before throwing them back towards Murphy away from the edge. " Lieutenant Guthrie! What the hell do you think you're doing? You know the grounders have their own way of dealing with their dead! What you just did is start a war for us! You are hereby exiled from Arkadia and sentenced to death!" Kane yelled at the delinquent as he was stripped of his Militia uniform, baton and badge. The Ark guard that had zapped him grabbed him by the collar of his t-shirt before throwing him over the edge of the cliff. As the delinquent screamed Murphy shook his head sadly. " Well, looks like Officer Markington gets her promotion after all." Murphy said to Kane as he handed him the paperwork for the promotion already filled out. " Very well. I'll look over this and let you know my decision Lieutenant. Dismissed. The rest of you are dismissed as well. Get some rest and grab some grub. We have a long day tomorrow. Dismissed." Kane said as he dismissed the other delinquents and Ark guards. As Murphy wrapped his arm around Clarke's waist he pulled her close to him before looking around. They were almost back to Arkadia and Murphy couldn't wait to get Clarke alone. @niko, Clarke Griffin, Susan Markington |

Susan had passed out as she was hit with the poisoned knife. She felt someone pick her up and place her on something cold and hard. As she heard a Grounder talk to Abby, she tried to speak but nothing came out of her mouth. She laid still as Abby patched her up after taking the knife out of her neck. When Susan heard Nikolai's voice she reached a hand out to him as she tried to open her eyes. It felt like her eyes were fused shut and all she saw was darkness.
Susan hoped Nikolai would come to her side. She wanted to feel his presence near her. She then twitched the fingers on her right hand as she attempted to once again open her eyes. She felt the pressure being lifted as the knife was removed. Susan smiled as she knew Chancellor Kane was taking care of business outside while Abby was working on her.

Niko paused on this movement outside when he saw Susan reach out towards him. Okay so he wasn't exactly the best boyfriend ever. He didn't easily open up and show loving concern or anything like that. Not in the way everyone else did. He bit his lip knowing his strength could be used outside but instead he did that thing that people were supposed to do when people they cared for were hurting. Granted that generally put him on a killing spree and lucky for him he'd kill the reason she was like this but that didn't mean he was exactly the best person to have in a medical tent right now. He bit down even harder on his lip as he took that outstretched hand. Nearly glaring at anyone who looked at him. Okay so he was a bit annoyed here but that was okay he'd live he supposed. He licked his lip a moment later realizing he probably looked like he'd run through a blood bath as he knew he was covered in blood. On top of that he'd caused his lip to bleed. Great well at least he hoped he was being somewhat comforting. He didn't say any of the lovey dovey words or anything to her. He didn't know them not really. He would have if they'd had let him out when his Auntie Noel died but he was still pissed at everyone for that one. But still aside for Noel, Susan was probably the only other person that remotely got to see even a half tender side of him and that was hard enough on him. He settled down at her side and watched abby and Nyko work on Susan. "The poison used will make it hard for her to talk and see but it should pass." Nyko helped Abby administer the antidote. He watched the boy that was sitting next to her. The boy was a warrior there was no doubt. One of the warriors that would rather be told to kill then sit still. He was an assassin even Nyko could see that but he said nothing. He had seen just what the boy could do. It was why he had come out at the last so that he could be escorted here in all that fighting that had happened. A truce with anyone was hard won apparently. Clarke looked her husband in the eyes as she said " I just want to keep officer Markington alive since she probably has a boyfriend or something that loves her and wants her alive." She knew that she was needed outside. She smiled as she wrapped her arm around Murphy's waist. She held John close to her. Clarke couldn't wait to be alone with her husband. She tried to clear her mind from worrying about if Officer Markington was going to be alright. John Murphy |

As Susan felt a hand in hers she relaxed and smiled. She struggled to open her eyes as she felt like she was about to black out. "ai hod yu in, Nikolai..." Susan whispered as she cracked open her eyes a little to see if it was really him sitting next to her holding her hand. She then moved her hand up to his mouth and with her thumb she wiped away the blood. "No getting hurt on my account. Us hunters need to stick together." she said as she opened her eyed and smiled at her love. As she felt the cold salve hit her wound she grit her teeth and closed her eyes once more. "All of the fallen grounders are removed from camp. We started to pile them up near the cliff for proper burial, but one of our Lieutenants shoved them all over the edge thinking it was a game. I stripped them of rank and had them floated." Kane said as he looked at Susan.
Kane handed Nikolai three patches, one was a Lieutenant badge for Susan's Militia jacket and the other two were captain patches for their hunter uniforms. "Nikolai, Take care of her. Besides Murphy and Bellamy, Susan's the best Militia member we've got and with you two being our only skilled hunters it only seems right that you get these badges. I'll let you get some rest now. Congratulations Mr. Raggs, you've got a wonderful companion. Keep up the good work. Abby, let me know when she's fit for duty." Kane said as he left the room after giving Abby a quick kiss on the cheek. "Who put in for my promotion?" Susan asked as she fully opened her eyes. Damn it Murphy...Now I can't call you commander anymore... she thought as she was helped up. "Well, look who's finally awake. How are you feeling, Susan?" Bellamy asked as he tossed her the Militia jacket that he had gotten from her backpack. Susan glanced at Nikolai before lowering her hood and shaking out her hair. "Still a little sore, a bit dizzy and thirsty....Is that for me?" Susan said as she saw the glass of water in Bellamy's hand.
As Bellamy handed her the glass of fresh water he smiled. "Yeah, you need all the fluids you can get. You lost a bit of blood out there. I'll check back in later. Take care you two." Bellamy said as he left the room. Abby looked at Susan and asked her, "Do you remember anything?" Susan blinked as she sipped on the cold water. After handing the glass of water to Nikolai she replied, "The last thing I remember was protecting Murphy from an attack, but the rest is all fuzzy. I'm sorry." Susan looked at Nikolai and pulled him close to her before whispering to him, "I do."

"Trust me princess, she does." Murphy replied as he pointed at Nikolai before walking towards their room. As he attempted to open the door he realized the key didn't work. "Looking for this?" a female delinquent asked as she held the room key in her right hand. "I've had enough games for today! I just want to go rest, please give me back my room key or I will be forced to lock you up for theft." Murphy said as he let go of Clarke and approached Leanna. She gave him the key and said, "You dropped it on your way back sir. I was just returning it to you."
She smiled at him before bowing to both Murphy and Clarke before leaving the area and returning to Chancellor Kane. "Congratulations Mrs. Murphy!" Leanna cried as she waved at them. Murphy sighed and chuckled before unlocking the door. "It's been a long day Princess. That fighting took a lot out of me. We can have fun time later okay? I need to think about a few things before I sleep." John said as he took off his jacket and tossed it on the chair before removing his boots and crawling onto the bed.
"Come lay with me...I just want to cuddle for now okay?" he said as he heard the sound of a bomb go off. The room shook as Murphy groaned and quickly got dressed. He then grabbed his radio and heard, "Damn it James! Get back here!" Bellamy yelled. "Eagle 1 to Cobra King. What's going on out there? Over." John said into the radio. "Cobra king to eagle couple...We just had a bomb go off near your location. Are you two okay? Over." Kane replied.
Murphy looked at Clarke before he replied, "Affirmative, We're fine....Do you need our help with anything? Over." Bellamy replied, "We have a fire just outside your wall. Get out of there!" Murphy grabbed Clarke's hand and he threw her robe on her before taking his guard jacket and old shirt off of the chair. He grabbed Clarke's shoes before rushing her outside into the hall. "Babe, we need to leave! Now! That wasn't an earthquake...it was a bomb. There's a fire on the other side of the wall. Come on we need to get to safety." Murphy said as he ripped his old shirt and dumped the cup of water on both halves.
He handed one to Clarke before covering his mouth and nose. "Clarke! Hurry!" Abby yelled as she moved Susan out of the Ark back to the medical tent with the help of Nyko and Nikolai. Murphy covered Clarke's mouth and nose with the shirt before running with her down the hall. They were almost to the exit when the roof collapsed in front of them. Susan saw the roof fall and she grabbed Nikolai to help her stop the roof.
As they held the roof up Murphy said, "Get ready to slide! 3...2...1...Now!" As he threw Clarke under the debris he saw Susan buckle under the weight. As her side began to fall he quickly pulled her to his side of the collapse. "Aaagh! Damn poison....Murphy what are you..." Susan said as she was grabbed and pulled to safety. John yelled, "Nikolai! Drop your end! There's a back way out! I've got Susan! Get Clarke to safety! We will meet you both at the drop ship!"
He then ripped the wet shirt again and gave Susan a half. He wrapped his arm around Susan's waist before escorting her towards the floating chamber. As they entered the floating chamber John let Susan go as he pressed the emergency float button. As the door opened he helped her through before letting the button go and jumping through the door as it closed. As the fire spread through the Ark more explosions were heard. Murphy then helped Susan out to the drop ship.
