" Well that's saying something there isn't it? You just threw yourself under the bus Chancellor. Hahahaha...Aaagh! Babe....let your mum do that please...you shouldn't be inhaling these chemicals in your condition..." John said as he felt the ace bandage get tied in place. Marcus looked at Abby and watched as she nodded her head before smiling. " Dodger! I need you to do me a favor...take your mother over to the fire pit and start making some clothes with the boar skins that we brought back...Please and thank you. Your grandma and I need to talk to your dad in private." Marcus said as he looked at the fire pit and saw the other children eating. " It's okay...go on...We'll be with you in a bit. Dodger...Here, you earned it." John said as he handed him his old Militia Cadet patch. " What's this for?" Dodger asked as he looked at the worn out patch. " Your mother will explain it to you...if she doesn't then ask Uncle Bellamy or Mister Jasper and Mister Finn. Go on now..." Clarke smiled slightly as she chuckled softly as she then sighed and frowned a little bit " babe I'll be alright." She looked over at her mother who was giving her the look of let me take it from here. She smiled as she let her mother take over and walked with Dodger over to the firepit so that she could help him if needed to make clothes out of the boar skins. She smiled as she said to Dodger " come on I'll explain it to you as we go over to the firepit." She looked at the patch before she looked up at Dodger and said to him " your father gave you this patch when he saw how you were able to lead and protect the other children during the simulation." She smiled slightly as she brushed her hand through Dodger's hair. She looked at Dodger and whispered into his ear " your father and I are very proud of you my son." John Murphy |

" What was that all about?" Marcus asked John as he stared at him. John returned the stare as he said quietly, " It's not good for the baby or Clarke's health for her to be inhaling the chemicals and medical fumes...Right Dr. Griffin?" As John stood up and put weight on his injured leg he used Marcus to lean on as he tested the injury. Feeling little pain John let go of Marcus and walked towards Abby. As he walked to Abby he looked over at Dodger and saw him making clothes. " I'm good to go?" Murphy asked as he watched Susan, Jasper and Finn return from the stables. " Yep...Just come back in a few hours to change the dressing. Oh, Congratulations as well. I think it's going to be a girl. It's still too soon to tell though." Abby replied as she smiled. After giving John a hug she went back to helping the injured delinquents. Marcus walked with John over to the campfire and grabbed a couple of plates of food, one for himself and the other for Abby. Clarke smiled as she saw Murphy come to the campfire. She said " don't worry everything is just fine Dodger went to go and eat with the other children. I am glad that you are alright babe." She slowly stood up and kissed John before she slowly sat back down and finished her food. She wondered why Murphy would have wanted her mother to take over but she figured that it probably wouldn't be good for her health and the baby. She looked over at the fire as she finished her food and then gave John a half smile. She glanced over at Dodger and the other children before she turned her attention back to the fire. She looked over at Abby and Marcus and smiled at her mother and Marcus. She yawned as she stared at the fire. She gave Murphy a hug and kiss as she layed her head on Murphy's shoulder. John Murphy |

After hugging and kissing his wife, he helped her sit down before he sat down next to her and grabbed a plate of food. He chuckled as he felt her lay her head on his shoulder. After swallowing his bite of food he placed his left hand around her waist and felt her stomach. He smiled as he wondered if it would be a boy or a girl. They would have to wait and find out in the months to come. As Murphy continued to eat with one hand he smiled at Dodger who was getting a blanket for his mother. As Dodger placed the blanket over Clarke he gave her a kiss on her cheek and then hugged his dad before returning to his friends and helping them make snacks. John smiled as Dodger hugged him before he finished his meal. As Murphy continued to eat he stared at the fire before handing his plate to Bellamy so he wouldn't disturb Clarke's sleep. " Thanks bro. I would trash it myself, but Princess is sleeping...Don't want to wake her..." he whispered as Bellamy smiled and nodded his head. Clarke Griffin Jasper Jordan |

Clarke smiled as she fell fast asleep. She hadn't realized that she might have kept Murphy from trashing his plate. She felt Dodger cover her with a blanket and give her a kiss on the cheek. She absentmindedly rubbed her stomach before she wrapped her arms around John's arm. Jasper walked over to Bellamy as he noticed Clarke was a bit bigger than before and he whispered to Bellamy " does Clarke seem to be bigger?" Bellamy chuckled as he whispered softly back to Jasper " yes I noticed Clarke seems to be a bit bigger but it's best not to question it." Jasper nodded as he walked over to the fire and sat next to Finn. Jasper whispered something to Finn that only Finn could hear. Jasper stared at the fire before he looked over at the other children and then turning his attention back to Finn. Jasper had hugged and kissed Finn before going to sleep. John Murphy |

John felt something crawl up his right leg. He chuckled as he tried to ignore it. Murphy then glanced down and saw that it was a black widow. " Bellamy...shoot my leg....damn it just kill the fucking spider..." Murphy hissed as he felt the blank hit his thigh. As the spider died John brushed it off with his right hand before digging out the bullet with his knife. He watched as Marcus returned to them with an angry look on his face. " Mister Blake what do you think you're doing firing at Murphy?" Marcus asked angrily as he glanced at Clarke and saw that she was still sleeping. Bellamy started to reply, but Murphy interrupted by saying, " I told him to...there was a black widow on my leg and I didn't want it getting to Clarke. I couldn't exactly move because that would definitely wake her up..." Marcus looked at the dead spider and poked it with a stick before looking at Murphy's leg. " It's time for your dressing to be changed. I'll watch after Clarke until you get back." Marcus said as he smiled at John. Murphy tried to free his arm, but it was no use. Clarke held on tightly and she wouldn't let go. " Babe...Come on...I gotta pee...let go of my arm..." John hissed into her ear as he tried to free his arm once more. Clarke Griffin |

Clarke slightly glared at Murphy as she rolled her eyes as she let go of her grasp on Murphy's arm. She wrapped the blanket around her shoulders before falling back asleep. She muttered softly " why couldn't John just woke me up even if it was for a few fucking minutes? was all of this necessary because of a damn spider?" She looked over at Dodger and wondered if he was doing alright. She fell silent as she fell back asleep. She seemed to have a hard time falling back asleep as she stared into the fire with the blanket that she had wrapped around her shoulders. She seemed to be lost in her thoughts. She made an attempt to go back to sleep as she layed her head down on the blanket. The fire seemed to be quite calming as she closed her eyes and went back to sleep. John Murphy |

Bellamy laughed while saying, " Yes...yes it was necessary! He told me to do it!" Murphy grabbed Bellamy and threw him to the ground. " I told you to kill the spider with a blank...This is not a blank!" Murphy yelled as he threw the bullet back at Bellamy before walking over to Abby to be tended to once more. On his way to the medical tent, he picked up a cup of water and drank it. Murphy then smiled at Abby as she patched up his fresh wound and bandaged both of his legs. " Thanks Mrs. Griffin...er...uh, is it Griffin or Kane now?" John asked as he saw a new ring on her finger. Abby smiled as she quietly replied, " Dr. Griffin or Chancellor Abby, unless Marcus tells you otherwise. Since you are married to my daughter, you can call me mom, but that's only when no one else is around. And thank-you for taking such good care of Clarke. Marcus wanted to speak with you about something earlier, but you were busy fighting King Roan. You're all good to go. I'll have Clarke put new ace bandages on in the morning." Murphy chuckled as he gave her a hug before saying quietly, " Thanks mom...You've done amazing with Clarke and showing her how to do medical stuff. If it wasn't for you teaching her back on the Ark then I might not be here..." Murphy then watched as Dodger and his friends made s'mores before telling scary stories with Gavin, Susan, Lexa and Bellamy. He smiled as he walked with Abby back over to the campfire. Clarke rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms as she wanted to slap Bellamy but she restrained herself from actually slapping him. She stepped quickly away as she saw Murphy throw Bellamy to the ground. She muttered softly " what the hell John" as she saw that a bullet was thrown. She shrugged as she walked towards the medical tent. She stayed outside the tent and listened to what Murphy and her mother were talking about. She smiled as she heard what they were saying. She felt someone tap her shoulder and she turned around and saw that it was Bellamy. She had a surprised expression on her face as she said " hi Bellamy I didn't see you there...are you alright?" Her thoughts seem to go back to when John had thrown Bellamy to the ground. She muttered softly to herself " shit Bellamy caught me listening to the conversation that was going on inside of the medical tent." She smiled as she said " I swear it's not what it looks like" as she put her hands behind her head. Clarke waited until Bellamy had left to continue listening to what was being said. She wasn't sure if Bellamy was going to tell anyone that she was listening to the conversation that was going on inside the medical tent. John Murphy |

Murphy glanced at the shadow outside of the medical tent before hearing Clarke's voice talking to Bellamy. " Looks like Princess was eavesdropping again..." Murphy said as he poked his head outside the tent and laid it on her shoulder before feeling Abby push him the rest of the way out of the tent. As he felt the tent sheet go behind him he wrapped his arms around Clarke's waist and felt the baby kick once more. " Someone's happy to see me...Don't worry princess...you'll be okay, but you really shouldn't be near the chemicals in the medical tent...Bellamy...escort Clarke back to Dodger please...I need to talk with Chancellor Kane. Apparently I'm about to be chewed out for something I had no control over." Murphy said as he felt Abby slip something into his pocket before walking over to Dodger and handing him and his friends glasses of milk. She then joined in telling scary stories. Clarke Griffin |

Clarke chuckled as she shook her head and looked at Murphy and muttered softly under her breath " shit I guess John heard me say to Bellamy it's not what it looks like and seeing my shadow obviously means that I was eavesdropping so there is no point in denying that." She laughed softly as she was embarrassed from being caught eavesdropping and smiled as she gently held onto Murphy's arms "hi there babe I'm always happy to see you." She rolled her eyes as she went with Bellamy to Dodger and the others. She knew that John was only looking out for her and the baby's health. She joined her mother as her mother was telling scary stories to Dodger and the other children. The scary stories were a good distraction for Dodger and the rest of the other children from what had previously happened. John Murphy |

As Murphy approached the sparring pit he saw Marcus and Gavin fighting with Susan's help. As Susan dodged a kick and landed next to John she smiled before saying, " So, You're not in trouble...Chancellor Kane just wanted to see if you have what it takes to face him again in a spar..." Susan smiled before throwing a punch at John as he took off his jacket. As John blocked the hit he tossed his jacket towards the stables before throwing his right fist towards Susan's face. As she blocked the incoming attack she threw a kick towards his injured leg. Murphy quickly jumped into the air as he did a backflip. As Nikolai watched Susan he smiled before seeing John grab her and throw her towards Gavin. He began to get angry as he jumped down to protect his Huntress. " You know better than to hit a lady..." Nikolai said as he threw daggers at John who ducked low to the ground to avoid them. As the daggers hit the tree Dodger looked behind him to see his dad fighting once more. " Mum...Papa's fighting again!" he cried as he pointed at the group sparring. Murphy ran towards Nikolai and threw his left leg at his chest before kicking him into the air with his right leg. As Nikolai blocked the first kick he took the second and did a backflip before smirking. Murphy smiled as he waved Nikolai to continue the spar. As Abby watched from the fire pit she smiled. " Don't worry Dodger. Your dad will be fine. He's just sparring with your grandpa." Abby said as she watched Dodger stand up and run to help his dad. As he did this Clarke grabbed his arm and stopped him. " Dad's sparring...I want to watch..." Dodger said as he looked back at his mom and knew that he had to be able to protect her. " Dodger! No!" Murphy cried as he glared at his son who was running towards him. Nikolai used the distraction as an advantage and attacked John with a few punches and kicks. As John took the hits he spat blood onto the ground before watching Dodger jump in front of him and fight Nikolai back. Murphy got back on his feet and he threw a punch at Nikolai as Dodger was thrown towards the stables. " Hey! Your fight is with me...Leave my son alone!" Murphy yelled as Dodger hit the wall. He glanced at Dodger who gave him a thumbs up as he stood up. Nikolai chuckled as he said, " I think it would be fun to take you both on...What do you say Susan?" Susan cackled as she jumped over Nikolai and threw a punch at Murphy's face. As John threw his hands up in an "X" formation he braced for impact before throwing Susan back towards the fire pit. As she flew through the air she shot an arrow towards a tree and swung back towards the battle. Murphy ducked as Susan flew back towards them. She ended up missing John and hitting Nikolai to the ground. " Sorry love..." Susan said as she chuckled and watched Dodger run towards them angrily. " I won't let you hurt my dad! Back off Hunter!" Dodger yelled as he threw his right hand towards Nikolai's side. As Nikolai moved Susan off of him he took the hit from Dodger and watched as John threw a kick towards his face. Dodger jumped backwards as he let his dad take over. He then ran after Susan and grabbed onto her cape. " You aren't going anywhere!" Dodger yelled as he pulled her backwards and put her into a choke hold as she fell towards him. Murphy ran towards the stables before jumping off the wall and kicking Nikolai in the face as he tried to back away. " Do you yield?" John asked Nikolai as he hit him in the face with his right foot. As Nikolai was hit to the ground he rolled back towards Gavin and Marcus who were still going at it. Murphy shoved Gavin out of the way as he took the hit from Marcus and he let Gavin fight Nikolai as Dodger dealt with Susan. John blocked the punch from Marcus before kicking him backwards. " Gavin...mind if I take over? I'd love to see how Chancellor Kane has improved since the Ark during my escape...It's time for payback!" Murphy said as he punched and kicked Marcus into the air. He then took a few deep breaths as he waited for Marcus to regain his balance and continue the spar. Abby watched as Marcus fought Gavin before attacking Murphy. She smiled as she helped Clarke over to the stables so they could watch from a better view. Everyone was either training, eating or relaxing and talking among each other. As Clarke listened to the scary stories that her mother was telling the children she noticed that Dodger had escaped and run off. She smiled at her mother as she whispered softly into her mother's ear " I'll go see where Dodger ran off to." She took off as she went and searched for Dodger. She muttered softly under her breath so that only she could hear " you just had to run off Dodger didn't you it's not a good idea to run off like that you don't know if there are any grounders,nomads or even zombies around." Clarke rolled her eyes as she was pretty mad that Dodger would just disappear or run off like that. She went to check the stables,forest and the sparring pit to see if Dodger might be at any of those places. She saw a shadow that seemed to belong to a young boy at the sparring pit. She ran over to see if the person that made the shadow was indeed Dodger. Once she was sure it was Dodger she went over and grabbed him quickly before anything were to happen. She mouthed to Murphy don't worry I got Dodger. She whispered into Dodger's ear " don't worry your father will be fine so why don't you come with me and join the other children." She smiled as she gave Dodger a hug. She knew that it wasn't safe for Dodger to go in the middle of a spar. She didn't think it was a smart of Dodger to do so. She walked with Dodger back to where her mother and the other children were. She looked at her mother slightly as she glared at Dodger and whispered softly " you really shouldn't have ran off like that." John Murphy |

John saw Marcus look at Clarke as she approached Dodger who was still sparring Susan. " Let go of me! I want to spar...How do you expect me to protect you and my siblings if something happens to dad? Let me train!" Dodger said angrily as he struggled to break free of his mother's grasp. " Clarke! It's okay...Susan won't hurt him too badly...let him have fun fighting our best huntress...Besides...if anything happens, Gavin will step in and stop the fight." Marcus said as he threw John towards a tree. John was caught off guard by the commotion of Dodger and Clarke as he lost focus and was thrown. " What the hell? Waaaaagh!" he cried as he was flying through the air once more. " See mom! Grandpa wants me to train too!" Dodger replied as Susan stopped her next attack when Clarke appeared. " Listen to your mother and don't talk back...We can spar later." Susan said as she smiled at Dodger and handed him a sugar cube. " I won't let you defeat me that easily Chancellor!" Murphy yelled as Dodger walked to the stables and gave the sugar cube to his pony. He then brushed Snowflake and cleaned out her hooves before shoveling her stall clean. Murphy continued to fight Marcus in the sparring pit and as he threw the next punch he watched as Marcus blocked it and once again twisted his arm behind his back. Clarke Griffin Jasper Jordan |
