Captured by the Enemy [M- Murphy's betrayal]

As John was captured by the Azgeda Commander known as Ontari, he was separated from Clarke and taken to Ontari's room. "What's all this about?" John asked as he saw the chain they were going to put around his neck. "Woah...Easy there big fella. It's not necessary...Right?" he said as Ontari ordered it to be put on him. John fell quiet as the choker was placed on him. "Leave us...notify me the moment King Roan returns." Ontari said to the guard as Murphy looked at the chain. As the guard left the room Murphy was questioned by Ontari. I wonder if Clarke will ever forgive me... Murphy thought as he replied, "Yes...I'm married and she will kill me if she finds out." Ontari smirked as she pulled John closer to her. "The things I do to survive." John said as he was forced to walk towards Ontari. As he was thrown onto her bed and restrained even more he heard shouting coming from the hall. A gag was placed over his mouth as he looked to his right and saw Clarke. He struggled to get free of Ontari's clutches, but the guards were all knocked out from Clarke putting up a fight. As John was forced to unload into Ontari he groaned as he continued to struggle against his restraints. "Clarke....get her off me..." John tried to say through the gag as he felt a knife against his throat. Is this how it ends...dying while making love to another woman?... he thought as he attempted to break free. It was no use, the chains were tight and his strength was fading fast. As Ontari looked at the door she pressed the knife to John's throat. Murphy felt the cool steel of the blade against his throat as he returned his gaze to Ontari. He then attempted to headbutt her, but he knew that wouldn't work as long as she had the knife.

Clarke went out in search of Murphy after he didn't return from a hunt. She stumbled across Azgeda territory which was the place of the Azgedian grounders. She would have to think of a plan not only to get John back but to get herself near Ontari's room. She was angry as hell as she forced herself past the Azgedian grounder guards and others as she got close to Ontari's room. She busted through the door to see her husband and Ontari making love and she was furious because not only did she find out that John was captured, but the dumb bitch was forcefully making love to him. Clarke mouthed to Murphy don't worry I'll get you free soon enough. She grabbed a hold of Ontari and forcefully took her off John. She gave Ontari a sly smile as chuckled and said to her "Listen here you dumb bitch. What the fuck do you think your doing with my damn husband." She didn't wait for Ontari to answer as she went and disarmed her. She put Ontari's arms behind her back and she threw her against the wall. Clarke then put the knife that she had taken when she disarmed Ontari into her pocket. As Ontari hit the wall she was knocked out, but Clarke's rage had consumed her. Clarke attacked Ontari with some punches and kicks before she left Ontari slumped on the floor. Clarke then returned to John and she removed the mouth gag. "You're okay now my love..." Clarke whispered as she kissed him before she figured out the restrains on Murphy and freed him. She then whispered into John's ear "Don't worry my prince. I know that none of this was your fault and as for Ontari...she won't be bothering us for awhile. Don't worry about her, let's just get out of here and back to Arkadia."

As Murphy saw Clarke John gasped as the mouth gag was removed. "We don't have time to chat here my Princess...Did you kill her?" John asked as he unstrapped his other hand while Clarke untied his feet. "I've never been happier to see you in my life Clarke...who else came with you?" he asked as he got dressed. As Bellamy poked his head into the room he smiled at Murphy before saying, "Let's get going you two. The guards are beginning to wake up." Murphy nodded his head as he placed Clarke behind him and followed Bellamy. "Nice job princess...Let's get out of here before King Roan shows up." Murphy said as he didn't want to meet him at that moment. He still had on the collar with the chain attached to it.

As Bellamy noticed more guards he drew his weapon and fired blanks at the guards. "Murphy...Don't let them see Clarke...she's being hunted by everyone for treason..." Bellamy said as he felt Clarke behind him. He looked to his left and saw Murphy getting angry. "Trust me...they won't like me when I'm pissed off..." Murphy spat as he saw King Roan. He immediately froze as he felt Bellamy next to him. As John clenched his hands into fists he yanked at the chained choker around his neck. It did nothing as he tried to get it off. "Grrr....When I get this damn thing off you're all dead! You hear me?" John yelled.

Clarke smiled slightly as she whispered into Murphy's ear and said "yes I killed her don't worry about it." She made sure that nobody else but John could hear her. She unstrapped his other hand before she untied his feet. "I'm so glad to see you and the only person that is with me is Bellamy." She hid behind Murphy as she figured that soon enough they'll eventually hunt her down. She looked at John and Bellamy before hiding behind Bellamy. She stayed completely still and quiet since she thought that it was the best thing for her to do now. She quietly thought shit I bet King Roan is probably looking for me as well since I'm wanted by pretty much everybody for treason or maybe he is here for Murphy either way it doesn't look good.

Clarke peaked a glance at the lock that was on the chained choker that was on Murphy and thought there must be a key to the lock that will unlock the chained choker and free John. She couldn't make any sudden moves although she knew what she had to do which was find the key to unlock the chained choker but if she did make any moves to go and locate the key they would surely capture her and possibly kill her. She just closed her eyes and stayed behind Bellamy and not saying a single word. She had no idea what King Roan was going to do or who he was looking for. She just waited for King Roan to do what he needed to do so that hopefully they could all leave.

As Murphy looked at Bellamy he nodded his head. "What do you want my king? John Murphy kom Skaikru." Murphy said as Bellamy followed his lead and said, "Bellamy Blake kom Skaikru." Roan nodded his head before replying, "So Mister Blake came to rescue the hostage. Who's this I see behind Mister Blake? Is that Wanheda? Nice to see you again." Murphy immediately got defensive as he approached Roan. "Ontari is dead...If you are really after my wife I will defend her until my last breath. No matter what it takes...I will protect my friends and family." John said angrily as he was dragged closer towards Roan. Ugh...Damn chain! Murphy thought as he took out his knife and began to cut at the collar. Roan chuckled as he said, "Put that away..." He then took out the key and unlocked the choker before tossing it back towards Bellamy and Clarke. Bellamy watched the chain hit the ground in front of him. He raised his weapon and pointed it at Roan as he yelled, "Murphy! Just say the word..."

Murphy held up his hand to give Bellamy the signal to not fire. The guards on either side of Roan also stood down. "Let's take this outside shall we?" Roan replied as he turned around and told them to follow him. Murphy watched the guards follow Roan before he gave the signal to Bellamy to follow them with Clarke. As they went to the stadium where the other Azgeda warriors, children and the royal court were gathered Murphy knew it was going to be a fight to the death. "Let's go!" John said as he was sick of waiting.

As Bellamy placed his hand on John's shoulder he whispered into his ear, "We have Nikolai and Susan in the trees nearby ready to assist you if you need it..." Murphy smiled as he gave Clarke a hug and a kiss. "Don't worry princess...He can't get rid of me that easily. I've been through worse...we both have. I won't lose today..." Murphy said to Clarke as Roan drew his sword. He looked at Bellamy and said, "If anything happens to me...I would like to be remembered as a true hero. Take care of Clarke for me." He then took out his own sword and spun around before he spotted Marcus and Abby on the opposite side of the arena. "Bellamy! Take Clarke over to the Chancellors, NOW!" Murphy yelled as he jumped into the air and landed in front of Roan. As they circled each other a few times Marcus yelled, "Come on John! You can do it!"

The battle began as Murphy blocked and dodged most of Roan's moves. "You're too predictable my King. You dare challenge the best Lieutenant of the Skaikru to a fight?" Murphy said as he slashed at Roan before kicking him away. No one knew that Murphy had a couple of secret weapons hidden up his sleeves. As the fight continued Murphy chuckled as Roan said, "What's so funny? You know you won't survive!" As the band began to play Murphy knew exactly what song they were playing as he began to sing along. Roan was impressed that Murphy could multitask. As he blocked a few attacks and took a few hits he chuckled before countering. Murphy was kicked backwards towards Clarke as he skid to a stop before her. He was bleeding from his right side as he grit his teeth and took out his first secret weapon. "Murphy are you nuts? You know that's not allowed in an official battle!" Bellamy said as he saw the baton. Kane stopped Bellamy as he said, "He knows what he's doing."

Murphy then charged at Roan and continued the fight. As they got into more difficult spots, Murphy shocked Roan a few times with the baton before slashing with his sword. He knew he had to protect his friends and family at any cost. Even if that meant giving up his own life in the process.

As King Roan approached Murphy and Bellamy,Clarke did her best to stay hidden behind Bellamy. She quietly took a deep breath as she froze behind Bellamy as she didn't look at King Roan. She muttered softly under her breath "well shit there goes hiding behind Bellamy...he's really after me." She followed them as she walked behind Bellamy. She didn't like the looks of it and she knew that something awful was going to happen. She didn't know what she was going to even say to John as he went to fight King Roan. She smiled slightly as she hugged him and gave him what could be a final kiss goodbye. She stood near Bellamy as she listened to what Murphy was saying to Bellamy. "Don't worry princess...He can't get rid of me that easily. I've been through worse...we both have. I won't lose today..." John said to her before speaking with Bellamy. "Good Luck my prince..." Clarke said as she took Bellamy by the hand and they went towards Chancellors Kane and Abby. She held onto her mother's arm as she watched the fight. She covered her mouth as she was in shock at how the fight was going as she looked and saw Murphy pull out the baton and she wondered if that was even allowed. She thought that John was insane for not only using the baton during the fight but fighting King Roan in general.

Jasper looked over at Clarke and walked over to her. He smiled as he whispered softly into Clarke's ear saying to her "Clarke are you alright?" He wrapped his arm around Clarke's shoulder as he allowed Clarke to lay her head down on his chest. Since Bellamy seemed to be busy yelling at Murphy he thought that he take care of Clarke as Murphy fought with king Roan. He whispered to Finn as he mouthed "Forgive me babe I swear this is only until the fight is done." Finn attempted to block Clarke's view of Murphy as he saw him fall to the ground and not move. Jasper watched the fight as he muttered "This cannot be good." Clarke knew that Murphy would never leave her and their children alone in this world.

Francesca looked over at Marty as she gave Marty a kiss. She said to him "I'll be back. I'm just going to make sure that Clarke is alright." She walked over towards Clarke and saw that Clarke was with not only her mother but Jasper as well. She whispered into Clarke's ear asking her "Clarke how are you doing? are you okay?" She smiled as Clarke nodded and she walked back towards Marty. She watched the fight as she looked over at Marty and said softly "Marty, Murphy is a good fighter and Susan and Nikolai are there if Murphy needs them. If it gets too bad then I'll step in and assist Murphy."

As Murphy watches Roan go for his final attack he quickly blocks it with his baton before being disarmed of it. "Pitiful! You won't win this fight. I will end you John Murphy kom Skaikru. Wanheda will finally be mine!" King Roan said as he cackled and threw his final attack. An arrow was shot from a tree at King Roan. It had come from Susan's bow. "We won't allow you to kill our commander!" Susan shouted as she landed behind Roan and pulled him backwards. A guard started to step in, but he was waved off by Roan. "So, you want to join in and die as well?" Roan asked her as she put him into a headlock. He quickly threw his right elbow into Susan's gut before tossing her towards Clarke. This distraction was enough for John to get back on his feet and continue the fight. "Get him commander! Aaagh...I'm okay." Susan said as she stood up. John nodded his head as he slashed at Roan and kicked him backwards into a guard. The guard attempted to scramble out of the way but it was too late. The guard was squashed by Roan as he cushioned the fall. Roan rebounded and slashed at Murphy who threw up a block with his sword.

As John kicked Roan again he was disarmed of his sword and forced to use his final secret weapon. As Roan hit the ground Murphy lunged on top of him and held his knife at Roan's throat. "Do you yield? Admit defeat or I slit your throat." Murphy said as he waited to see what King Roan would do. "Your wife will be mine if you don't kill me now..." King Roan said as he struggled to grab his own knife. Murphy's rage consumed him as he attempted to inject King Roan with a zombie virus. When he felt an arrow destroy the vial he was dragged backwards by Francesca. The Azgeda guards began to turn instead of King Roan. "Long live the King." Murphy said as he stood up and let the virus take its course on the guards.

As Roan's heart stopped and the transformation began to take effect Murphy smiled as he said, "I give you mercy King Roan! Long live the King!" As John returned to the other Skaikru and the Azgeda children he said, "We need to get out of here now. Children you're coming with us. They won't be able to survive the outbreak we are releasing. Just watch the guards...they won't last long." As John helped Susan up he clutched his side as he realized he was wounded as well. "Damn it..." he muttered as he fell into Susan's arms. The Azgeda guards surrounded King Roan as they turned into zombies. The other Azgeda citizens began to scream and panic as the Azgeda children followed Finn and Jasper back to Arkadia.

Murphy was carried back to Arkadia by Susan and Nikolai after he was placed on a stretcher. The rest of the Skaikru followed the Azgeda children and their parents back to Arkadia. As Marcus brought up the rear Murphy hear gunfire. He knew Kane was killing the infected guards and saving King Roan. As he closed his eyes he heard Clarke talking to Gavin. "Don't worry Mrs. Murphy. He'll be okay...He lost a lot of blood, but if we can get him back to Arkadia I know we can save him..." Gavin said as he watched Nikolai and Susan pick up their pace. As Murphy closed his eyes he fell asleep and he felt like he was on a boat out at sea rocking in the waves. Once the motion stopped he knew they had made it back to Arkadia. Bellamy had picked up Murphy's sword and baton before following the others back to Arkadia. He smiled as he knew Murphy could finish off King Roan. "That's the way Skaikru fights! Don't mess with the best! Haha! Way to go Murphy! Hip hip.." Bellamy cried happily as he raised his right fist into the air victoriously. Marty smiled as he cried with Francesca, "Hooray! Hip Hip.." Bellamy cried, "Hooray! Hip hip.." Everyone cried in unison, "Hooray!"

Susan watched as Murphy was about to be killed. She couldn't stand by and do nothing for much longer. As she gave the bird call she fired her arrow at Roan as a distraction. After doing this she looked at Nikolai before disappearing and reappearing behind King Roan. As she put him into a headlock she said, "I won't let you harm our commander!" She then felt a sharp pain to her chest as she was hit by King Roan and thrown towards Clarke she hit the ground hard and rolled to a stop just before Kane's feet. As Kane bent over to check on her, she looked at Murphy and said, "Don't worry...I'm fine! Get him commander! Aaaagh....I'm okay." She watched as he got up and continued the fight. As she saw him take out a needle she knew what he was doing. "Shit! Nikolai! Stop him now! This isn't the way it should end! Stop him NOW!" Susan shouted as she saw the guards surround King Roan and toss Murphy away. Nikolai shot an arrow at the vial that held the virus and watched as Murphy returned to the others. As the guards got infected and Roan was saved, Nikolai helped Susan get Murphy back to Arkadia.

Marty watched from the sidelines as he saw Murphy about to die he clenched his hand on Francesca's shoulder. When he saw Susan interfere he smiled as he said, "Go for it babe. Murphy needs your help now. Get him out of there." As he released his grip on his girlfriend's shoulder he smiled. "Susan, you okay?" Marty asked as he knelt beside her. He turned his head to watch what Murphy would do. "John! Don't you dare inject him!" Marty yelled as he saw the vial of zombie mutation virus.

Gavin watched the fight between Roan and Murphy. "Come on John! Remember what we practiced! There you go! Give it to him!" Gavin cried as he so wanted to jump in and help. He restrained himself by helping the Azgeda children gather near Jasper and Finn. As he saw Murphy fall into Susan's arms he smiled. "Alright! See...I knew all that sparring would pay off someday!" Gavin said as he followed the children back to Arkadia.

Murphy heard Bellamy playing a soft melody on the guitar as he began to sing, "I'm down on my knees begging you to rescue me, please stop me don't let me run..." The band joined in as John sat up on the operating table. He took the microphone and said, "This next song is for King Roan." As the next song played King Roan appeared at the gates. The Arkadian guards blocked his view of Murphy and Clarke as they took precautions. Marcus saw King Roan and he approached him before saying, "We don't want any trouble my King. We spared your life and saved you from an infection that would have killed you. Leave the newly weds alone." King Roan nodded his head as he dismissed his own guards. "I only came to see how Mr. Murphy is doing." King Roan replied. As Marcus gave the secret whistle Susan cut back open Murphy's stitches. As he dropped the microphone he grabbed Susan and cried out in pain. "What the hell was that for?" Murphy asked her quietly as he laid back down on the table so Abby could stitch him back up. Susan pointed at the gates where Kane was standing. As Murphy saw King Roan his face went pale as he said, "Don't worry about me...Go protect Clarke...Keep her hidden until he's gone...on second thought...no let him see her."

As Roan entered Arkadia Murphy gave the secret whistle for Clarke and watched as she began to walk towards him. "Hand me the microphone please Susan. Thanks. Okay all, Let's rock!" As the band played 10K began to sing while Murphy was being sewn back up once more by Abby. As Clarke approached Murphy she saw King Roan out of the corner of her eye. She picked up her pace before taking the baton from Bellamy and starting it up. Bellamy pointed his gun at Roan as he stood in front of Clarke. "What is he doing here?" Bellamy asked as Kane ordered him to lower his weapon. "Not until we hear him say he's unarmed and not going to kill anyone..." Bellamy cried as he glanced at Murphy who was sitting up once more.

As the band began to play he heard Murphy singing and lowered his weapon. Susan drew her bow and placed an arrow on it just to be on the safe side. As she saw a boar she shot at it and watched it fall over dead. "Nice shot Lieutenant Markington!" an Azgeda child cried as they ran with Finn and Jasper to get the boar. Susan smiled as she bowed before Roan with the rest of the children. "I feel nothing at all...can you tell me how it feels...can we pretend this is real....I feel nothing..." 10K sang as Murphy sang the chorus with him. Roan smiled as he watched them perform before saying, "Good to see you're better....John Murphy kom skaikru. Don't worry I'm not here to kill anyone. Just offering a peace treaty between our nations..." Murphy smirked before giving the bird call to Nikolai. As Nikolai appeared with Indra, Lexa, Anya and Nyko he pointed his bow and arrow at King Roan. "Why is he here on Skaikru territory?" Nikolai asked Susan. Susan smiled as she stood up and replied, "Peace Treaty between Skaikru and Azgeda...which also means they have to make one with the Trikru Grounders since we are allied with them." As she smirked she caught Roan's glare and returned it with an icy stare of her own.

As the band started the next song, Murphy held up his hand before saying into the microphone, "If we do make an alliance with them then this next song is perfect for this moment." 10K started the song as Murphy sang along, "Love like winter..." Once the song was over and the next one began Murphy grabbed a bottle of booze and drank it before tossing it onto the ground towards Roan angrily. "It's not like you to say sorry, I was waiting on a different story..." Murphy sang into the microphone as he approached Clarke and danced with her while singing.

As Roan saw Indra with Lexa and the others he smiled before giving them a nod of approval. "Lexa! I told you not to come..." Bellamy cried as Murphy sang the next song with Bellamy and 10K. "I'm here without you baby, but you're still on my lonely mind." Murphy sang as he wrapped his arm around Clarke and let 10K finish the song while he gave her a passionate kiss in front of everyone.

Clarke looked over at Jasper as she said "you can let go of me now I'm fine... I'll be fine." She muttered softly so that only Jasper could hear "you didn't have to do all of this..." She slightly smiled at Jasper as she went to see how Murphy was doing and if he was still alive. She chuckled as she shook her head as she saw Bellamy playing a tune and John was singing. She thought it was somewhat strange but a great way to lighten the mood.

She froze as she saw King Roan approaching. She was relieved to find out that he was only here to check up on John. She heard the secret whistle from Murphy and walked towards him. She took the baton from John as she looked at King Roan. Clarke didn't want to hide from him anymore. She started the baton as she saw Bellamy stand in front of her. She watched as Finn and Jasper went with the children and Susan to get the boar. She smiled as she put her arm around Murphy and kissed him passionately.

Jasper didn't mind the Azgedian children he just didn't say anything to them. He instead focused his attention on Finn. He whispered into Finn's ear and said to him "I was only looking out for Clarke for Murphy's sake. I have no intention of getting with her since she's married to John." He wrapped his arm around Finn's and walked back with Susan and the children. He rolled his eyes at the thought of a peace treaty with Roan but figured that a peace treaty was better than Skaikru and Azgedia at war with each other.

Francesca looked over at Marty and smiled at him. She figured that an alliance with the Trikru grounders would be good thing along with the peace treaty. She didn't know how Marty or the others felt about it. She wrapped her arms around Marty and kissed him passionately as they danced along to the music.

Murphy looked up at Lexa to see her talking with Roan. "This may not end well if they can't make an alliance with each other..." Murphy said quietly to Clarke as he kissed her neck before being poked by one of the Azgeda children. As he looked down he smiled before ruffling the child's hair. "Excuse me sir...I can't find my parents...can you help me find them?" the little blonde child asked as he smiled up at John. John handed Clarke the microphone before picking up the child and asking, "Do you know what they look like?" As the child shook his head no, Murphy walked over to Roan and Lexa. "Sorry for interrupting, we have a lost child looking for his parents." Murphy said as he placed the child on the ground and watched him move towards Lexa as he backed away from Roan. Looks like skaikru aren't the only ones who don't like him... Murphy thought as he heard Roan say, "Those aren't children from Azgeda...they are from the mountain..." Murphy shrugged his shoulders as he took the child by his hand and out of earshot of King Roan and Lexa. "How would you like to have new parents?" he asked as he smiled at the child. "Who would they be sir?" the child asked. "Well, How about Clarke and I?" Murphy asked as he saw the child's face light up.

Clarke felt Murphy kiss her neck as she was going to kiss John's neck before they were disturb by a child. She wondered where the child's parents were. She raised her eyebrows as she held onto the microphone. She looked over at John and the child as she handed the microphone to Bellamy. When she heard Murphy ask the child if the child wanted John and herself as the child's new parents she pulled Murphy to the side as she said to John softly "Murphy darling don't you think we should at least talk about it. I love the idea of being the child's new parents it's just well what if you get yourself in another near death situation again since we would be the child's new parents probably promise me that hopefully you won't get yourself killed for the sake of the child. " Clarke walked back with Murphy towards the child.

Murphy chuckled as he said, "If this alliance works out then we have nothing to worry about dear." He looked at Bellamy and saw him give the thumb's up. "We're good to go...Bellamy is the negotiator now since Pike has gone on vacation." John said as he winked at Clarke before turning to the child and walking with him and Clarke over to Kane and Abby. Abby already had the paperwork written up and Marcus had signed the papers already as they saw Murphy approaching with the child and Clarke. "What's your name young one?" Marcus asked as he smiled at the young child. "Dodger, sir." Dodger replied as he smiled at Abby. Abby wrote down his name on the papers before having Clarke and John sign them. "Hold on you two...One more paper to sign...We never got it filled out due to what happened that day..." Abby said as she gave them the official marriage certificate to sign as well. As John smiled he gave the marriage certificate his best John Hancock before handing the pen to Clarke. He then put his guard jacket back on to cover up the wound he had received from Roan.

"After Clarke signs both documents it will be official." Kane said as he handed a chocolate chip cookie to Dodger. Dodger looked up at John who took the cookie and examined it. After looking at it he asked, "No chemicals?" Kane's happy face went instantly sour as he glared at Murphy. "Are you really that protective? I'm not trying to poison him. We just made a batch of cookies for all the children." Marcus said as he took out a plate of more cookies from a box on the table. John looked at Clarke before handing the cookie to Dodger and calling over the other children. "Who wants cookies?" Murphy yelled as all the children from Mount Weather and Azgeda ran towards them. He quickly picked up Dodger and moved to the other side of the table before placing him back on the ground. "What was that for dad?" Dodger asked as he ate his cookie. Murphy pointed at the other children who were running towards them like a stampede of wild boars. "Oh, you just don't want me getting trampled...I understand. Thanks for the cookie Chancellor Kane and Mrs. Kane." Dodger said as he finished his cookie before bowing politely to Abby and Marcus. He then gave Murphy a kiss on his left cheek before hugging him gently around his waist. Dodger then walked over to Clarke and gave her a hug before saying, "I love you mommy."
